Now that we’re almost up to 2023, let’s look back on some of my favorite ALDI Finds from 2022! Here are the top five non-food Finds that I’ve picked up for myself or my family over the past year, and I’d love to hear about yours, too.
You may have noticed a trend over here from items I’ve mentioned in the weekly ALDI Finds posts, but my house is, well, kind of full of ALDI Finds. But let me at least give a try at narrowing down a few of my faves from 2022.
Fave ALDI Finds from 2022
This one is a recent buy, but an instant fave: I’m just so happy that I picked up this super-soft 15 lb weighted blanket! It’s warm, it’s cozy, it helps me sleep, and it sports a removable, washable cover. (And yes: This blanket is indeed sitting on a fall-themed ALDI tablecloth — bonus.)
UPDATE: Nope! I have changed my mind on this one. 🙁 — this year’s is not as good as last year’s; it’s significantly shorter, doesn’t sport the hood or kangaroo pocket of last year’s, and is more like a tunic than a dress. Hope they bring back the original…
Up second: The amazing ALDI sweatshirt dress! I got one last year in black, and loved it so much that I also picked up the gray one earlier this month (not in size medium, but the cool thing about this dress is that it works well for many sizes and body types). Cozy, flattering, and perfect with leggings.
The set of affordable blue patio cushions I picked up from ALDI this year go nicely together with the blue outdoor pillows from ALDI last year, sprucing up a set of little wicker chairs that have since moved to my front porch. They’re much more welcoming this way than with the sad, faded cushions they had going before.
See this pretty little rose gold French press from ALDI? (Mandalorian not included.) I’ve never actually used my French press other than to decorate the DIY coffee bar we put together earlier this year, but quite like the looks of it on the shelf up there.
Lastly, let’s talk about this ALDI mandoline. Mandolines are back again in the latest ALDI ad, but I picked mine up in early 2022 and have gotten quite a bit of use out it when thinly slicing onions and other veggies. (Be sure to use the guard, so that you don’t slice off a knuckle!) And yes, this is sitting on another seasonal ALDI tablecloth — which I found on clearance right before Christmas. Guess I like these, too. 😉
