Looking at the ALDI ad for the week of 8/2/23 (7/30/23 in Sunday markets), I see five favorite Finds and deals to share with you! From sale boneless skinless chicken breast to various perpetual wall calendars, we do have options this week.
Here are my top five ALDI Finds and deals from the ad starting tomorrow 8/2/23 (7/30/23 in Sunday ad markets). It’s a pretty short ad with not a lot to choose from this week, but here are just a few standouts. What are you planning to pick up based on this week’s ALDI ad?
Five Fave ALDI Finds & deals, 8/2/23
Let’s start out with the magnetic Pembrook classroom and family boards featured in this week’s ALDI ad. Mine from last year (shown above) are holding up quite nicely, and you can grab the same design again this summer. $6.99 is a decent price for these, since they apparently hold up to a year of weekly use (and much erasing). Choose from:
- Children’s reward chart
- Children’s memory board
- Classroom goals board
- Monthly calendars
- Classic planners
While the description on the ALDI site says these are dry erase, my chalkboard style calendar boards from last year were wet erase, so double check that in store.
We use two of the weekly calendar chalkboards, to always have a view of both the current week and next week’s activities. When the chalk markers that came with mine wore out I just picked up new ones at Dollar Tree, and that’s the purple and white writing shown here.
Next up? You guessed it, more plants. This week’s plant-ish Find at ALDI is assorted 4″ foliage, at $3.89 apiece. All the plants I’ve purchased there seem healthy and of great quality for the price, so a nice way to add a little greenery to your home.
What do kids love? Pepperoni pizza. What’s in this week’s ad? Hey, look: Mama Cozzi’s crispy pan pepperoni pizza, at $6.99. These are fairly hefty frozen pizzas, too, clocking in at 1 lb 10.17 oz apiece, and they include a cardboard cooking pan. You don’t see a lot of pan pizzas in the frozen section, so this is a nice option — we tried it once, and I can tell you that these are teenage boy approved.
Speaking of things that kids like, who’s getting ready for those back-to-school lunches already? Clancy’s potato chip combo also comes in at $6.99 this week, and contains 18 one oz bags. That works out to $.39 a bag, which is OK for easy lunch options — although you can sometimes do better on name-brand with subscribe & save on Amazon or by watching grocery store sales.
Lastly, my Chicago-area ALDI ad features family packs of boneless skinless chicken breast for $2.29/lb. Pricing on meat special buys can sometimes vary by region, thought, so check this against your own ad. To help you make the most of your ALDI sale chicken, here are a few fave family recipes:
