Let’s have dessert first this time, shall we? Because the frozen Specially Selected spring macarons are out this week, at $5.29 per 12 ct box.
Also in the freezer section: These Sundae Shoppe Fusion ice cream bars worked out so well for me yesterday! They’re listed in this latest 3/29 ad at $3.49 a box, but my store had some left from the LAST time they were a special buy… so put the last few older-dated ones out on clearance for $.85 a box. Yes, please. (These are really good, but way too small for $3.49 a box — you only get three tiny bars here.)
Also in the freezer section: An entire Specially Selected mocha or vanilla bean marscapone cheesecake, at $10.99 per 28 oz box.
Over in the pantry section, you can look for either Southern Grove Easter trail mix or Just the Fun Part mini chocolate filled waffle cones. Both of these options are priced at $3.99. Oh, and you’ll also find Pillbury Easter cookie dough in the refrigerated section — but it’s not such a deal, at $3.49.
We also have a couple of special jarred fruit options this week, to enjoy on their own or to incorporate into your own homemade desserts! Specially Selected flavored gourmet peaches, for instance, will run you $3.99 a jar.
And the ever-popular Specially Selected dark Morello cherries are back this week as well, at $2.99 per 24 oz jar.

As always with ALDI seasonal shaped pastas, be sure to cook their Easter pasta quite al dente so that it doesn’t fall apart on you.
Restock your teas this week, with several new herbal and green tea options. The lemon ginger is quite nice…
The hummus crisps tout that they’re made of “real chickpeas!” I’m not sure why they wouldn’t be, but, good. 🙂
The spinach blossoms make nice little appetizers, but just note that it’s a tiny little box.
Grab panko breadcrumbs while they’re available, too. They’re good for so many recipes, but only stocked occasionally over at ALDI.
More seafood Finds this week
Now, let’s talk about our last week of seafood sales. For starters: Look for Specially Selected cold smoked salmon gravlax, which is always yummy at $3.99 for 3 oz.
I haven’t yet tried the Park Street Deli lobster bisque or clam chowder, but you get a 24 oz container for $6.59 here. (Also in the refrigerated/deli section.)
Moving over to the freezer section, $6.99 will get you either a 10 oz box Phillips salt & pepper breaded calamari, or an 8.46 oz box of Specially Selected shrimp & scallop pot with champagne sauce.
Feeling crabby? 24 oz of Royal Greenland snow crab legs are out in the freezer section at $18.99, or look for Specially Selected Maryland or boardwalk style crab cakes at $7.49 per 6 oz package.

The children’s rain gear is always so cute…
The athletic shoes are pretty comfortable, and since they’re both decent and affordable, they’re good to send with kids with adult-sized feet who need a pair for PE but tend to lose or thrash them. Maybe that’s just our house, though…
The FERREX electric pressure washer is a good price, and spring cleanup is fast approaching here.
