Heluva Good recently introduced a limited edition Roasted Garlic & Carmelized Onion Dip, just in time for National Garlic Day on April 19. As a garlic lover, I'm pretty sad that I missed National Garlic Day 🙂 -- but still pleased to have had the chance to check out this new dip!

We brought this Heluva Good Roasted Garlic & Carmelized Onion Dip over to our family Memorial Day BBQ this past weekend, where it paired equally well with chips, bagel chips, and sweet bell peppers.

To tell the truth, Mr. 7 did find Heluva Good Roasted Garlic & Carmelized Onion Dip a little strong for his taste. I think that the bold garlic and onion flavor might be more appropriate for a grown-up palate -- it was quite flavorful, and all the adults present were quite pleased! It's also good to know that Heluva Good dips never add any oils or water, and you can see in the photos above how nice and thick this dip was.

  1. Helluva Good Dips are by far some of the best dips I have had...My better half used to be a Deans only man, but when Helluva Good is on sale he asks me to stock up. I have not had the opportunity to try the other flavors but to spice up the French Onion, I add some papparicka.

  2. Bold, Fun and flavor can be the variety of people invited to the gatherings and the potluck items they bring.

  3. I try and have many different items for my guests to enjoy at my parties. Different flavors to satisfy everyone is my goal. Helluva Good dips are perfect to use as a potato chip dip, veggie dip or to even spread on sandwiches.

  4. My mom likes to cut vegetables with the wavy cutter. That makes things more exciting. Paprika is always fun too.

  5. Since Helluva is great at issuing coupons, I have been enticed to buy both onion and ranch and they are delicious!

  6. Have only had their onion dip, good to know other people recommend other flavors I'll have to try. Hope I win, fingers crossed!!
    Thanks for all you do!

  7. My husband prefers Deans but i bet he'd love this garlic. We both LOVE garlic and spicy things. I add siracha to most anything... lol

  8. I would add a little red pepper flakes to make it hot but would like to try the new flavor. Thanks.

  9. We tend to lean on the spicy side of things here: extra hot peppers, crushed pepper, chili powder and lots of garlic! I also love to add lots of fresh herbs to things. Summer is best when you put basil on top of anything! Fresh herbs in salad are so tasty and definitely change a simple, green salad into a great salad.

  10. Would love to try this dip. We add Frank's Red Hot sauce to spice things up:)

  11. It's kind of difficult to add bold flavor to dishes because I'm surrounded by people who have simple, non-spicy palettes. Now, when it's just my sister and me, that's a different story: we'll take it as spicy as you can make it.

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  12. I start drinking before the guests come!, and nibbling on the food, this would be great with pita chips.

  13. Never use to even like garlic and within the past 2 years I love it! Can't get enough!!!

  14. Heluva also makes a horseradish dip, which is also good on beef sandwiches. But if you really want to spice it up, add more horseradish and it is so powerful it comes out your nose! You have to be careful with that because a little goes a LONG way!

  15. a little bit of hot sauce is as far as I go. I don't like too much spice. My husband on the other hand is the total opposite.

  16. I love to add garlic, a little jalapeno and a splash of lime to just about anything.

  17. I love the Helluva bacon horseradish dip and also their french onion dip. I have added chopped up jalapenos to them to make them extra spicy since my husband thinks the spicier the better. I have not tried their garlic dip yet but if it is like the other ones, I know it will be delicious as well.

  18. We like garlic, I use it in a lot of dishes. Gives good flavor and it's really good for you as well!

  19. I invented a great dip- 1 brick of cream cheese, softened, some hot gardiniera from a jar, and some milk or sour cream to thin it. Blend in a food processor until combined and veggies are chopped. Yummy!

  20. I haven't tried this brand yet, but always willing. I like garlic a lot!!! With veggies or pita chips should be a great pair! Thank you.

  21. I love trying some new recipes at my parties- things my guests may have not tried before.

  22. Just being at a gathering means I add excitement! 😛 But, just like this dip, I love adding garlic and onions!

  23. For fun flavors, we love to grill pineapple. I know its not a dip, but you asked for fun, and that's unique and really good with vanilla icecream!

  24. Anytime I have a gathering, I make my tried and true recipes, but always add a new item or recipe. It doesn't always work out...lol.
Next time I can add the dips for my new and exciting item!

  25. i love having french onion and vegetable dips available at our gatherings.
