I absolutely love this Blog....I have followed you for a couple years and I recommend it to anyone who tells me they are struggling with cooking for their family, while working a full time job. 246. Hello Rachel, I am also Rachel! I discovered you when my best friend and 3 children moved in with my family of four, for about 5 months. The fact that you can make so much food for $60 is miraculous. No one believes me when I tell them about MashupMom.... until they smell my lunch leftovers and get jealous! I would love to see more fish/ seafood recipes, or more recipes that make even better lunch leftovers! Thanks!

  247. I can't even begin to tell you how much of a lifesaver your weekly menus are for my household. Before I found your site probably a year ago I would head to the grocery store three to four times a week trying to figure out meals

  253. I would love to see more pescatarian meal plans. I eat chicken and turkey too! I love all your recipes and sometimes sub a protein when it calls for red meat, so maybe even alternatives other people could do if they don’t eat meat. I think seeing ratings or your personal opinions the aldis finds or new items would be cool too!

  254. I love how you show Aldi is a great place to make meals for the family! I would love to see quick meals for nights when work is long and there's not much time to be with the kids before they go to bed

  255. Love what you do...it's a REAL blog with REALISTIC recipes for REAL people! We love IP recipes, so give us more of that!

  256. First-time mom here! Wanted to quickly say thanks for being an answer to prayer for a budget friendly meal plan! Idea for this year: a lunch meal-plan for those of us on the go?

  257. I am brand new to your site and trying out the aldi meal plan this week for the first time. I don't have any suggestions for what I want to see more if since I haven't seen much yet, lol.

  258. Love your meal plans haven't tried a meal I dont like and the family likes it too!

  259. I enjoy your recipes a lot, however, there are a lot of ā€œMexicanā€ style recipes that find their way into the week’s recipes and 1 is no big deal, but since i am the only one in my family that appreciates spicy mexican dishes, I was hoping to see more variety. Not a criticism because I really do love and appreciate the recipes and the help! Thanks for all your hard work!!!

  266. I'd love to see the Facebook Deals page be open to anyone, not just Facebook members. I was sad to see the couponing aspect of your blog go into hiding. I just wonder why you can't view the page without it being private? Would love to win a gc from Aldi....they are building a new one in my town!

  267. So many good ideas above! I have told so many friends and neighbors about your site. I would love some recipes for low sugar (not sugar substitute like stevia, etc.) deserts. I know you went low sugar and I'm wondering what you do for treats!

  268. We love the menu ideas and Aldi’s! Lunch menus for kids lunch boxes as well as adults would be great!

  270. I have depended on your blog every week for the last three years. When I got divorced and lived on my own for the first time EVER, I learned how to cook with your recipes. I would love to see healthy recipes or the calorie count on the recipes you use.

  271. I'd love to see low carb, low sugar, whole foods recipes. Also, lunch ideas for kiddos and adults. Thanks for this great resource, and congratulations on the 11 yrs!

  272. I love it all--your easy, tasty meals (even if I don't make it and just look at pictures), and ALDI! Husband is currently doing no sugar and no flour (and no substitutes), but I find lots of recipes that still work from your plans. (Plus, our kids are still eating flour and sugar.) What would I like to see? I don't know... I don't want to be picky. I'm timid about roasting veggies. It seems like I put a lot on the pan and then everything shrinks! Ha!

  273. I would love some more quick healthy snack and dessert ideas.
I have shared your posts and turned others on to how amazing Aldis is!

  274. I am new to th is site and love it so far! I would be interested in at least 1 crockpot meal per week. 🌸🌸

  275. I think everything is perfect - your ideas and recipes have been a God-send for my family! LOVING that I don't have to think quite as much to figure out what to make on a budget. THEY might say more "traditional" foods, as they are not quite as adventurous as I'd like them to be..... šŸ™‚ Keep up the fantastic work!

  276. I enjoy your blog. I'm having great success with Keto way of living, so more low-carb, high fat recipes please

  281. Hi,
I love your website and have for a looong time! I remember buying multiple newspapers and coupon matching for your weekly jewel and cvs deals...remember the catalinas?!
An Aldi just recently opened near my home and I like your recipes using their ingredients. Love, love, love your kitty posts šŸ™‚
I would like more lunch ideas for my teen kids as well as insta pot recipes.
    Thanks, Rachel!

  282. Would love to see easy desserts and side dishes. Entrees are easy for me but I seem to always make the same boring sides.

  283. I would love to see more healthy meals. Especially those that are quick or with minimal prep. Instant pot meals would be great too!

  284. Hi! Love this blog. 🤩
More slow cooker recipes...I love coming home from work and having dinner ready. Thank you!

  285. I love the fact that you highlight shopping at Aldi. My husband and i decided for our new years resolution would be to try to shop for a majority of our groceries at Aldi this year. The recipes are great keep it up.

  289. I LOVE the sheet pan dinners, I tend to make those first.
Would also love to see cold meals (not sure that is the right terminology.) For example, picnic/lunch/on the road meals.

  290. You've changed my life. I'm buying food I never have before, I have healthy leftovers, I'm cooking real food for my husband. Loved how you wrote about getting started and not learning to cook until later-- that's me. Maybe that's why you're such a great teacher.y friend and I joke that you hold our hands through the process. I love telling other women at Aldi about this too. I saw one comment on the one pot meals-- which i honestly started to get out more pans, I couldn't hardly believe it.
I'd love to see more recipes around holidays for twists on traditional dishes or just how to do them... Now that I'm gaining confidence and actually hosting more - all thanks to you.
I did go on Aldi's website and found their recipes for Thanksgiving, copy and pasted all the ingredients, and successfully hosted 15 ppl for Thanksgiving though! I can't thank you enough for all you're teaching me!!

  291. I love this blog and I tell all of my friends about it, especially if they are struggling with their budgets! I would love seeing more gluten-free content!

  294. I'm new over here! I love your Almost All Aldi and look forward to seeing what you have over here!

  295. I would love to see more recipe ideas for crock-pot cooking. I can never seem to find much I like in the way of crock-pot cooking - always seems to taste like "same 'ol, same 'ol" to me. Thanks for all the recipes you DO supply...love them <3

  296. I appreciate what you do and enjoy the weekly menus. It would be nice to have low carb or other ā€œdietā€ menus maybe.

  297. Love your recipes and that you include the shopping list! Love to see more dairy free and gluten free recipes! Keep it up!

  298. So excited to find you tonight. I need help reigning in our grocery budget and meal planning. My husband is diabetic so we are trying to find more low carb but high flavor options out there that our whole family can like (and we have teens that could live on pasta.)

  299. My family really enjoys the meal plans and the variety. There has not been one recipe that we haven't liked. When it comes to mid day meal, we do struggle a bit with deciding what to have that is able to be packed in a lunch box. I would love to see if you have any ideas. We appreciate your efforts and your generosity. Thank youā™”

  300. I would love to see Instant Pot/Ninja Foodi meals and high protein low carb too.

Thanks for all of your hard work and dedication to the blog! We appreciate you

  305. I love your recipes! What about slow cooker recipes or freezer meal plans for busy, hot summer days?

I first met you at the Joliet Public library
Years ago. Been following you ever since.
    Congratulations on 11 years!

  307. Less repeats of the same meals. It’s on a good rotation and helpful to have some repeats because I enjoy not having to stare at the recipe and become familiar with it. But a little more variety would be great too!

  308. I have just started using these meal plans and live them so far! I would love to see kids lunch and snack ideas too.

  309. Summary posts for various meats? So when I’m not in the mood for one of the dishes in the weekly plan, I can easily click a link and have a bunch of ideas to substitute?
Slow cooker meals are always welcome.

  310. Mashup mom grocery list and recipes has saved me soooo much time!
I'd love to see more recipes with non processed foods (although a lot of your recipes are pretty easy to make that adjustment).
Maybe even some recipes for breakfast and lunch meal prep!

    Thank for what you do!

  311. Congrats! You're one of the only food blogs I read! I would like to see some freezer meals to prep for the week and for quick meal ideas! Thank you for all your work.

  312. I’m new to your site but am enjoying your meal plan ideas. Would like to see recipes using air fryers.

  313. I would like to see more yummy recipes. We love a majority of them and only have a small handful we do not like. Keep em' coming. This site is a HUGE blessing to our family and grocery shopping!!

  314. Happy Anniversary! I would like to see dedicated side dish recipes. I love your main meals, and I know that sometimes they already have a vegetable included. But I often stop here for ideas when making my meal plan and sides is where I get stuck.
Thanks for sharing a little bit of your world!

  315. I appreciate that many of your recipes are naturally gluten free! And, you're a funny writer. Humor always wins!

  316. Your meal plan has changed my life! I love one pot or sheet pan meals for easy cleanup so I’d love to see more of those but honestly I’ve been happy with every meal and I just discovered your website about 2 months ago. Keep doing what you’re doing!

  317. I really love reviews on Aldi's products! Its nice to have feedback from others on products they really love....and do not love. šŸ™‚ Great way to find new products to try !

  318. I like the idea someone said earlier about kid lunches. A weekly plan (even if it's not a regular feature) for kid meals would be great! I love your recipes!

  319. I need meal ideas for empty nesters. I don’t remember how to cook for only two people. It’s crazy!

  320. Instant pot dinners on the Aldi weekly menu plan are my favorite. The planning and shopping list already made, helps so very much!

  321. Hi! I just found your site after recently going to Aldi for the first time! I'm hooked! And I love being able to meal plan and budget my groceries better! I'd love to see more of everything!! 🄰

  322. I love what you do!! I would love to see more lunch ideas and possibly what you would use on a charcuterie board. My family is not into soups so I usually skip those. šŸ™‚

  323. I'd love a little more couponing/deals and not nearly as much Aldi. I've been around prior to the Aldi craze. I took my first couponing class with Jill maybe 10-11 years ago and then found you soon after.

  324. Would love to see more grilling recipes, slow cooker recipes and some vegan options. Family of four with different dietary needs.

  325. I appreciate all you do for us, Rachel. If possible, I'd love to see more low carb recipes. Thank you! šŸ™‚

  326. Congratulations! I appreciate the money I've saved over the years and the delicious new meals I've made from reading your posts. When recipes contain spicy seasonings or mushrooms, it would be helpful to know what I can use as substitutes to still make a tasty meal. Unfortunately, I can't do spicy foods. Thank you for all your do!

  327. Love your website Rachel. You are my go-to for recipes. Would love a chili with meat recipe for a crockpot.
    Happy 11th Anniversary!

  328. I'd love to see some air fryer recipes. We bought one at Aldi but don't use it nearly as often as I thought I would.

  329. I love the idea of including lunches or breakfast ideas. Even if it was once a month maybe, or didn't include specials (because I recognize how much work goes in to this).

  330. Would also like to see more diabetic recipes it gets boring sometimes eating the same thing over and over again

  331. Love your menu plans! Use them religiously for my family of 7 (most of the littles are small, so we can still make it stretch across).
Would love more Instant Pot ideas (I already have adapted some of your recipes accordingly) and anything without milk/creams for my lactose sensitive hubby.

  332. I'd like to see more allergy friendly recipes, or at least substitutions for the more common allergies.

  333. I just found your website and love it! I would love to see more low carb meals. We're trying to eat healthier and it is feeling like an expensive task.

  334. I'd love to see the recipes organized by type, not just weekly. Beef, chicken, vegetarian, side dishes, etc.

  335. I would love to see more quick meal plans for busy weekdays. I love the meal plans but end up cooking 3 on a weekend night to fit it into my hectic life.

  336. I am so happy that I have found you, it was about one month ago but girl you have helped me save some money in dinners.
I would like to keep seeing the meal weekly plan and also maybe some breakfast ideas. Thanks for the hard work!

  337. Rachel, as a fellow librarian I admire your many interests and all the great meal plans. We frugal gals love the simplicity and variety! Keep it coming!

  338. Appetizer and dessert recipes are my favorite things on blogs. I have been using my slow cooker more so those recipes interest me as well.
