five fave ALDI finds & deals week of 10/4/23

Hey, it’s October — and Halloween food & more is in full swing this week. Here are my top five ALDI Finds and deals from the ad starting 10/4/23 (or 10/1/23, in Sunday ad markets). What are you looking forward to picking up on your next trip?

Five Fave ALDI Finds & deals, 10/4/23

I’m not gonna lie; I was sorely tempted by this year’s addition to ALDI’s Emporium Selection Halloween cheeses — which are always SO cute. At $4.29 a pop, though, I walked away without this Death by Garlic black garlic cheddar cheese. (No promises about my next trip to the store, however!)

One thing to note about the returning Halloween cheese is that, even though the price has gone up these last couple of years, some of it is down in size. Bat Knit Crazy cheddar, for instance, was 7 oz in 2022. The same cheddar is just 5.29 oz in 2023, which is almost 25% smaller. Shrinkflation strikes again…

Other Halloween- and fall-themed foods this week include:

  • Nature’s Nectar sparkling pumpkin spice cider 4 pack, $3.89
  • Halloween brownies, $4.29
  • Specially Selected pumpkin cream cheese frosted sugar cookies, $3.95
  • Specially Selected pumpkin spice sliced brioche, $4.49
  • Two-bite mini Halloween cupcakes, $3.89
  • Benton’s spooky chocolate sandwich cremes, $3.65
  • Clancy’s cinnamon churros, $1.49
  • Specially Selected maple cinnamon or pumpkin cranberry artisan crisps, $3.59
  • Park Street Deli sea salt caramel or pumpkin pie hummus 8 oz, $1.99
  • Mama Cozzi’s pumpkin or ghost shaped pizza, $4.99
  • Season’s Choice sweet potato or butternut squash blend 16 oz, $3.29
  • Specially Selected caramel apple or apple berry blossoms, $3.29
  • Sundae Shoppe jack-o-lantern character pops, $2.39
  • Specially Selected pumpkin feta or beetroot goat cheese flatbread, $3.99
  • Specially Selected roasted red pepper or butternut squash jarred soup 24 oz, $3.89
  • Reggano Halloween pasta, $2.69

The churros are a perennial fave with the kids, and if you like Taco Bell’s cinnamon twists you might want to check them out. The Halloween pizzas are always fun, too!

aldi flower bouquets

ALDI stores (around here, at least) stopped regularly carrying fresh flowers a while back. It’s nice to see deluxe fresh flower bouquets back in this week’s ad; at $5.99, they’re not a bad price, and a pretty pop of cheerfulness as you walk in the door.

aldi cards

Pembrook all-occasion greeting cards are also back on the shelf this week, at $1.49 apiece. (This photo is of an older design to show you their size and quality; I’ll update with a newer pic when my store gets them in!) It looks like this time they’ll have Halloween, birthday, thank you, and “just a note” cards available.

aldi patio furniture cover

Lastly, check out some useful outdoor Finds for your fall yard and garden cleanup. Belavi patio furniture covers are just $14.99, which isn’t a bad price. Also look for:

  • Belavi 105 gallon deck box, $69.99
  • Ferrex 20V cordless pole saw, $49.99
  • Gardenline leaf scoops, $7.99
  • Gardenline utility gloves, $5.99
  • Gardenline winter protection greenhouse, $19.99

We actually just picked up patio furniture covers on Amazon recently, or I’d be looking at these ones a little more closely…
