Caturday with the Notorious BKL and Friends: Baby it’s Cold Outside Edition

Welcome back to Caturday with the Notorious BKL and Friends: Baby It’s Cold Outside Edition. Earlier this week (during our lovely April snow showers…), Mr. 11 was curious to see what Bad Kitty Lucy would think of the whole snow experience. So, he brought her out in the back yard briefly — their sojourn lasted all of about five minutes, but suffice it to say, she’s not exactly a big fan.

But I will say that he’s definitely gotten his $6 of use out of this little soft mesh cat harness from Amazon — when he gets it in his head occasionally to take her for a little stroll around the yard, I don’t worry about her slipping away or running into the street.

While Ms. Bad Kitty Lucy is perpetually interested in escape (even if she does not approve of snow in April), Jeremy has no interest in venturing outside of these four walls. His main concern today appears to be the fact that I am not currently cooking anything good smelling in the Instant Pot. I’m not really sure why, since the steam release terrifies all three of the bad kitties and they go running — although that’s always pretty amusing for the rest of us.

As for Gnocchi? She’ll just leave them both to their evil machinations and soak up allll of the attentions for herself!

(Well…  maybe not QUITE all the attentions…)

So, how’s your Caturweek (or cat-free week) going?

Bad Kitty Gnocchi was a little sad to miss out on all the outdoor excitement, and did make sure to attack BKL as soon as she got inside and shook the little bit of snow off her fur. But trust me: She does all right for herself.

That’s about it for this week’s Caturday, but be sure to tune in next week for an all-new episode of the exciting adventures of the Notorious BKL and Friends! That’s us for the week, so: How’s your own Caturweek (or cat-free week) going?

I have to admit, the Caturday series is seriously addictive.

It's kind of like cats... that's how we ended up with three, I think! ;)
