Anyone had trouble with Kohl's rebates?
Has anyone had trouble with the most recent round of Kohl's rebates? Chris posted these messages on Facebook:
Beware! Received an email re: $5 rebate on the crockpot from Kohls in October. Will not pay the rebate because by using discounts the price of the pot was under $24.50. Guess I'll be going to Kohls to get my $5. Wonder if they'll be a problem with the new $10 rebate also? I called the rebate company , they will not offer it . Receipt show sale price of $29.99. . But after all discounts I paid $19.92

Here's Kohls response: " Unfortunately , because the offer was from the manufacturer , we are unable to issue a rebate.That being said , you can still attempt to return at your local store. " No box since I had to mail in the UPC, a rebate form printed by a Kohl's register, Kohl's advertising the offer in their ad , and they can't honor $5 goodwill gesture ? Even though sale price was over $24 , discounts made it less , and form Kohls printed didn't have that restriction. Wonder if anyone else has gotten this rejection also ?
I've never heard of this happening with Kohl's rebates, so am pretty startled to hear this. Is this an isolated incident, or has anyone else had issues?
I am also having issues with the complete lying idiots and incompetence at Kohl's Rebate Center. I have sent in via USPS, E-MAILS, AND FAXES the required information 7 times and they morons at KRC keep telling me the information receipts are illegible AND not there--BOTH! How can it be BOTH?! Bunch of MORONS and incompetence going on there, and I am not do sure Kohl's in not complicit in this. My $12 bucks is not even a big deal to me, it is just the point. DO THE MATH--IF KOHLS CAN SCREW, LOWBALLING IT, BUT SAY 15-20% of the customer rebates, think of all the $$$$$ they save annually. I am never shopping there again, I have spent way tooooo much there anyway. I'm taking my money elsewhere; bunch of liars!
I sent 3 rebate requests on different Black Friday (2017) items and received only 2 answers with tracking numbers. I kind of felt it would happen (because it is stated in rules they are not responsible for loss), but decided to give it a try. I know one thing now - I am not going to fall for any rebate deal on Black Friday at Kohl's any more.
I received all 6 of my $12 rebate cards, but have tried them at several stores, gas stations, even Kohl’s.com, and none of them work. Definitely not trusting the rebate offers again.
I just received all 3 my visa cards too. I have not expected third one because I did not get email confirmation about it. I am shocked to read they do not work. I will.them today and will write later if they work.
Received and already spent my Black Friday $25 prepaid rebate for Cuisinart. Per this thread I must have overpaid for the appliance.

Same issue but with the Sonicare Toothbrushes. In the webpage the rebate was mentioned, but apparently not all colors were covered, so I decided to get TB for all the family. Now they are denying my rebates since they claim it was only for the white one. Nowhere was it mentioned in the website that only the white qualified. So now I'm out $60, no way to return since they have been used. Nobody can do anything apparently, even when they have misleading promotions on their website.
Not a very happy Kohls shopper. First time trying their rebates and i got burned.
I received two pre-paid cards and neither had the full value on them. One was supposed to have an “Initial Card Valie” of $36 and the second stated $12, for a total of $48. I used both at the same restaurant and the $36 card had $30 on it and the $12 card had $10 on it. The total value lost was only $6, but it’s reflective of one more issue with Kohl’s rebate pre-paid VISA cards. Is there a reason the cards didn’t have the full card value that I’m not aware of?
I am having an issue with the sonicare TB rebate too.My $60.00 rebate got approved and said that they issued it on Jan.20 so i waited but never get any so i called in after a month and they said that they're going to issue another one and i should wait for 15 days ,another month passed by and i still didn't get it so i called them again and they said that they are going to replace it and that i should wait for another 15 days again...17 days already and i still haven't get it so i called them again today for the 4th time and the representative that i talked to said that they cannot replace or issue another one because they need to do some investigation first because this is very unlikely to happen...and that i should wait for another 15 days for their investigation..I'm so pissed and would never buy anything with a rebate offer,this would be my first and last.
I received my 2 visa reward cards totaling $38.00. Neither of them work. Going to make some calls to see if they can fix the problem it, which after reading this I doubt they will.In which case I will contact the attorney general about this scam.Everyone please do the same we need to stop these kind of marketing scams
Watch out their rebates expire in 6 months!!!!
Just found out $60 expired on mine. That's $60 kohls just gets back because they want to be that way.

I am very disappointed in Kohl's rebates as well. I brought 12 appliances, some as gifts and I never once received a rebate. This was doing black Friday 2017. Almost a year ago. I brought the air fryer out of the 12, which had the largest rebate and I've heard nothing. This is horrible how businesses cheat consumers. Don't they make enough during the holidays. Very dissatisfied customer.
This was my first time sending in a Kohl's rebate, and this will be my last, you are a Rip Off. I purchase a Toastmaster 5cup coffee pot, I sent you all the information I had, Is this your way of cheating poor people out of their money? I was so sure you would do the right thing, I didn't make a copy, My lost. .
