$2.39 a lb. and not organic. I think not for me. I can clean and rice a full head of cauliflower in minutes at .59 a lb. I do really appreciate all of the new stuff that Aldi keeps adding to the stores, but this isn't one I'll try.
LOL. I am trying to think how much of a head of cauliflower you'd waste pulling off the leaves etc, but the bag is definitely less than you'd get from a decent sized head of cauliflower -- it's a convenience food. 🙂
We cook and eat the green part and the stalk of cauliflower too. They are tender and we like them. I agree, it's a convenience food, so it's very worth it for a lot of people. I pay what I think is a ridiculous price for organic spinach either frozen or in plastic tubs. I think it's a way better product than the fresh spinach in the regular produce section.
I've been buying this rice cauliflower from Aldi for a couple of weeks now and I love it. It may be a tad bit more expensive than buying a head of cauliflower, but it saves me the time of chopping, etc., so I think it's worth it.
I have seen and used the fresh Green Giant brand from Target, which costs $2.99 if not on sale, and the frozen Green Giant brand from Meijer, $2.50 not on sale. Both are good, although not organic. The $2.39 price for fresh is a good price.
i get the trader joe's brand. its very good for people like me on WW. I have also used regular cauliflower in the food processor. sometimes a head of cauliflower can run $4.00+ if not on sale so its good to have options. I think its between $2.49-$2.99.
Oh, absolutely yay. I hate ricing caulliflower. HATE IT - and I hate cleaning food processor and I always make a giant mess. I have been buying Trader Joe's occasionally, but an extra $.40 is definitely worth it to save the trip.

A bit pricey for my taste, I even think the Cauliflower heads are too expensive
I wish my ALDI had this!!! That's an awesome price... Walmart has it for $3.97!
