OK, I almost can't believe it myself, but: January 28, 2019 is Mashup Mom's TENTH blogging anniversary. Yes, all the way back on a cold January day much like this one in 2009... but when we were all just that much younger... I started sharing coupons and deals with some friends online. The rest, as they say: It is history. 😉

Thanks so much to all of you for being here and helping Mashup Mom evolve into the true community it has become today -- both to those of you who have stuck around through all of the changes over the years, and those of you who are newer to the recipes and weekly meal plans here.   4. Looks great! It would be awesome to see maybe a side by side chart of Aldi prices on certain staple items compared with other retailers such as costco, sams club, kroger, giant, etc. Just a thought!

  8. I’ve been following your site for a few months now. The recipes at first I was skeptical that my kids would like any of them because well they are PICKY. Soooo picky! Lol. I was wrong because they liked a lot of the recipes. Some I had to tweek for them to like while the other half I made the way intended for my husband and I. Our favorite is the tortellini soup. My husband requests it. I love how detailed the shopping list is so it makes it easier for me if I have to travel with 1 or all 3 kids. I love how the sale prices on certain items are used for the meals that week and they go along with eachother - like when leftover bbq chicken was used for the bbq chicken naan pizzas. We are on a strict budget so these meal plans have truly helped me plan the week. If I don’t like a certain recipe (rarely) I just switch it with another one from an older meal plan to try it. I have yet to have a dish that I didn’t like. The website is great, the prices are definately alittle different over by me. Also, my closest Aldi was renovating so I had to travel to another one to get the items that my normal one didn’t have yet. I’m truly happy with the brand new site, I also wanted to say Thank you for taking the time to create these plans. They have helped me in more than one ways. Congratulations on the 10th year!! 😁
