Hey, let’s talk real food snacking today. I recently received four different flavors of LOVE CORN to sample and tell you about — with, of course, the assistance of my able teenage taste tasters. Since teenage boys are snacking experts, any review of a new snack product requires their input!

A LOVE CORN review

I put out a variety of LOVE CORN for my two taste testers, and Middle School Guy tried every flavor. He then immediately absconded to the basement with the entire pack of sea salt LOVE CORN, which has since disappeared. Guess it was a hit, right?

High School Guy and I were both partial to the habanero chili flavor, with BBQ a close second. To be honest, though, the salt & vinegar variety didn’t really resonate with anyone here.

LOVE CORN is tasty to snack on right out of the bag, but also makes a great gluten free crunchy topping for soups and salads. Try shaking some chilli habanero LOVE CORN onto taco soup, or toss a few of the BBQ ones into a southwestern salad with ranch dressing. Or, you might add a little bowl full to your next charcuterie board for some flavorful crunch and textural interest.

What’s nice is that these little kernels maintain their crunch, but are still nicely chewable. I’m snacking on a pack of these as I type, without concern for my teeth — and, I feel that they’re a healthier swap for the chips I often crave. Such a yummy little snack.
