You know it’s a good day at ALDI when…

aldimilagro

… the El Milagro guy is stocking hot fresh tortillas! lol

Anyway, I mostly popped in to pick up the $.49 baby carrots to try scratching up a recipe tonight (stay tuned…). Unadvertised sales: The Villa Park store on Roosevelt had garden salad bags clearanced at $.49, 16 oz bags of baby sweet peppers for $1.29, pints of blueberries for $2.49, and their own brand cinnamon roll tube things clearanced at $.75. Strawberries were $1.29… that’s all I remember. 🙂

Thank You for taking a picture of the truck. I was telling my husband when we were in Jewel several weeks ago that you said you get these at Aldis......and sometimes you get them when they come off the truck WARM! He rolled his eyes at me like that was a lie and then I grabbed a package of them at Jewel (yes 39c there, but twas in a blizzard!) and those were STILL WARM!!!

I wanted to tell you the garden salad bags are in the ad this week for 49c, so shouldn't be just a clearance at your location. That is such a steal at that price because they usually move them quickly and you get no wilty ones!

Oh, that's right! It had a handwritten sign which made me think clearance.

When I visited ALDI headquarters a while back, they said that ALDIs in Chicagoland get El Milagro deliveries daily. I find them warm every once in a while, and they're so good when they are fresh. :)
