My Jewel had 3 out of 4 in stock. They let me exchange the Frigo sharp cheddar and beef sticks for the Frigo cheese and Turkey sticks that were out of stock.
Mine was fully stocked on all of them including flavors at 9:15AM ! The cashiier even said they were moving pretty fast. Great deal.
Jewel wasn't the only busy place. This PM about 3:30 the Target parking lot near us was full of parked cars, crazy aggressive cars driving through and snow covered pavement. We were glad to get home. I thought everyone was supposed to be at home cyber shopping? Yesterday the grocery stores I went to were crazy busy, but, they must have expected it because they had a lot of lines open at all of them. Nice.
We got all four today's Jewel freebies and one free banana with kid's fresh fruit card.
Food4Less had even fewer bananas left, but theirs are only $.39/lb. 😉
I got all four freebies at Jewel today. I'm not so sure about the "Watermelon Lemonade"---looks like watermelon-flavored sugar water. They seemed to be out of the Frigo, but then they had stocked additional ones on the end cap of the same aisle, as well as extra Tropicana. Everywhere I went today was crazy, crazy busy!
Meijer in Mokena had an empty banana area too! What the heck??
Everything was in stock in Wheaton Jewel today at at about 11am. I didn't check bananas, because I was after the grapes for 99c/lb ):
I went early this morning to Jewel and got all 4 freebies! They even had some left just now because my friend is there and getting all of hers as well. Shocking. But Kroger was a different story, I have never seen that store this crowded! It was a complete madhouse even though they were stocking shelves as we grabbed the deals! I was chatting with the bagger and he said it's always like this before it snows. It only started snowing down here about 2 hrs ago.
Naperville store on Ogden Ave was mobbed around 3, but I managed to get all four freebies. Got home just as the snow started to fall.
I didn't get to Jewel until a little over an hour ago. I got the rice, lemonade and the juice. So that's not too bad. The store I was at didn't look to carry Frigo variety with turkey. One empty row said beef, so I'm guessing they were substituting those? Oh well. I wasn't too sure about those anyway. The cheese sticks are fine but I thought the meat might be weird. I guess I can try again on Monday after work because I refuse to go out in the weather tomorrow for a freebie that's very likely out of stock at most stores.
