Caturday with the Notorious BKL and Friends: Caught by a Sunbeam Edition

Welcome back to Caturday with the Notorious BKL and Friends: Caught by a Sunbeam Edition. Since we’re enjoying some full on sub-zero polar vortex fun here in Chicagoland this weekend, I thought everyone might appreciate some warming (and heartwarming) photos of… cats caught in sunbeams!

Don’t you feel a little warmer already just looking at this crew? At least, in your soul? Although Bad Kitty Lucy here is kind of fixing you with her cold, cold stare, isn’t she…

So here, try Bad Kitty Gnocchi’s sunbeam instead. She can’t turn you to stone with her gaze if she’s not looking in your direction, right? 😉 There’s enough sunbeam for everyone!

And even grumpy old Jeremy is getting into the sunny action this week. (He got a bit of mellow in before the Notorious BKG jumped on his head, anyway…)

Although to be honest, Jeremy much prefers being caught by his person to any old sunbeam. And is one of very few cats in the world that likes to be held with his legs dangling down like this. But, only by his boy — it’s really a good day for everyone when High School Guy is home from IMSA.

So, how’s your Caturweek (or cat-free week) going?

What have you been up to this week? Over here: Speaking of Caturday, Middle School Guy recently drew this Super Cat poster for art class — and I must say, he’s more creative than I’ll ever be. (Among Super Cat’s super hero powers, the freeze ray he’s using to put out the fire in this high rise. He’s a handy guy, Super Cat!)

And since that’s us for now, I’ll leave you with the usual question: How’s your own Caturweek (or cat-free week) going? And.. be sure to tune in next time for the latest installment in the exciting ongoing Caturday adventures of the Notorious BKL and Friends!

Well if that isn't love in Jeremy's eyes when HSG is holding him, I don't know what is! He must really miss him when he's away at school. I think MSG is very creative. His poster is great! Thank goodness for the sun beams on days like this. I would not enjoy a cloudy, miserable sky with this kind of cold weather.
