Caturday with the Notorious BKL and Friends — Queen of the World Edition

Welcome back to Caturday with the Notorious BKL and Friends! Behold, the wonder that is Queen Gnocchi the First. She’s getting even prettier as she gets older, isn’t she? Maybe I’m just biased… but, I’m pretty sure she prefers the title of “Queen Gnocchi” to Bad Kitten Gnocchi, as her plot to depose the Notorious Bad Kitty Lucy from the throne proceeds apace.

I mean: You can just see it in BKL’s eyes, can’t you? For instance, here she’s thinking that she should have been the one to get cat hair all over the inside of my brand-new insulated grocery bag…

So in a world of kitty intrigue and constantly-shifting alliances, BKL has been cozying up to Jeremy a lot more often as of late.

(OK, it could also be because it’s getting colder out and because it’s drafty in here due to our old and poorly insulated single-pane windows. I have a lot more fun inventing a backstory for these guys, though, so we’ll roll with it.)

But wait… then BKG and Jeremy began to form a side alliance over the age-old question of: What’s in the Trader Joe’s bag?!

Spoiler alert: It was empty… I’m not sure what exactly was so interesting in there.

You also may be relieved to know that BKG’s new queenly responsibilities have in no way diminished her kittenish playfulness. She’s just a bit over six months old now, so we still have a while of that to go! Not that they don’t all keep us entertained in their own way and with their distinct personalities.

How’s your own Caturweek (or Cat-Free week) going?

That’s about it for this week’s Caturday, so let me know how your week was!

It's nice to see BKL being more friendly with Jeremy. I look forward to your Caturday stories each week.

How cute they all are. It must be like having 3 furry toddlers. Maybe you need number 4. You know what they say about 3 being a crowd?

We really can't let them start to outnumber us, though! ;)
