Here’s one sent over by feelgood — thanks!
Just got back from Dominick’s. Magnum Gold 3-pks were shelf priced at $2.99 each. Page three of this week’s ad shows $2 off instantly when you buy 2 Magnums, brings it down to $1.99 each. Used $1.00/1 Magnum Gold coupons (tearpads found at Jewel), now $0.99 each. Paid $1.98 for two and got a $2.00 Catalina…which rolled on subsequent Magnum Gold purchases.
![]()
Also bought Magnum Classic 3-pks ($1.99 each after instant) and Magnum Double Caramel ($2.49 after instant), got a $2.00 Catalina each time.
Catalina offer ends tomorrow, 5/19.
If you have been holding onto the tearpad qs, looks like tomorrow at Dominick’s is the time to use them! Even without the coupon, the classic and Gold are $.99 each after Catalina and instant.
Scotties, El Monterey, and $5 off $25 Dollar General — and deals!
Posted by rachel in coupons, dollar general, dominicksPut in ZIP 12345 and then reload the page to find $1.00/2 Scotties tissue. This does not print with a Walmart logo on it, just as a general manufacturer coupon. Dollar Tree carries Scotties for… $1.00. (I know, right?! go figure…) And, it goes as low as $.88 at Ultra sometimes.
Also under ZIP 12345: $1.00/1 El Monterey family pack burritos. Load a $2.49 price on Dominick’s JFU (limit 3) and get them for $1.49 after coupon.
And, $5/$25 at Dollar General 5/19-5/20 only!
Also under 12345:
- $.75/1 Bear Naked FIT cereal.
- $.55/1 2 or 6 pack Great Day hard boiled eggs.
- Picture People big bundle package coupon.
Several of you have pointed out that this coupon may have reset yesterday, so check it out: Print Buy one 32 oz package Johnsonville Grillers, get a free 19 oz pkg Johnsonville brats. (If you don’t see it, put in ZIP 99218 then reload the page.)
Johnsonville Grillers are $5.00 on Dominick’s $5 Friday sale today — or, extend through Sunday on JFU! So, get both the grillers AND a pack of brats for just $5.00.
That’s over 3 lbs total.
Note — if you don’t have a Dominick’s convenient, The Shopper’s Apprentice points out that the Grillers are $5.99 at Meijer starting next week, so you could use there as well.
Here are your Dominick’s Deal Match and Just for U updates, to add to your Dominick’s deals shopping this week!

… Cause maybe you have something better than I do? They only added four things to mine this week, one being the $1.49 eggs again, one being $.30 a gallon in gas rewards if I spend $40 (but I can still only redeem $.20 a time at Mobil, reading the fine print… doh), and one being Betty Crocker fruit flavored snacks at $1.89 (so not happening!).
I do have Fresh Express salad blends at $1.79 and they are BOGO this week, so that’s something. What do you have?

El Monterey 32 oz burritos and chimichangas showed up as a $2.49 price, limit 3. Use $1.00/1 in the 3/3 RP or 1/27 SS to get them for just $1.49.
Van de Kamp’s showed up as a $2.99 price, limit 4. Print $1.00/1 here. $1.99 fish!
Here’s another one — save $10 when you purchase $100 in American Express gift cards. You’ll want to do the $100 card instead of smaller denominations because of the activation fee (I think it’s $5.95 like MasterCard, but not sure). So it’s only a very small money maker here.
We got $.89 Clif, Luna, or Mojo bars limit 4. There’s $.50/1 Mojo bar in the 4/7 SS to make them $.39.

They’re matching some of the decent deals at Jewel, including 2 liter Pepsi for $.89 and 2-liter 7-Up for $.89 when you buy four, as well as Pantry Essentials milk for $1.99, bananas at $.38/lb and red grapes for $.99/lb, select Special K for $1.99 when you buy four, and Hormel bacon for $2.99 each when you buy two.

(Thanks, The Shopper’s Apprentice)
Update — OK… it’s intermittently working, apparently for some people and not others. I do not know why.
Heads up! People are reporting that the $15 off $100 MasterCard that’s available to load on JFU is not coming off at the register today. You might want to have your printout with you just in case so you can argue your case with customer service if yours does not either.
So I went to Dominick’s today — It’s been a DAY, so I’m not writing out the whole trip, but wanted to quickly tell you about two things:
Campbell’s
Campbell’s cream of chicken soup is still on sale for $1.00. Load $1.00/1 condensed soup on Just for U to get one for free. (Note this will only come off one time in one transaction, and is a manufacturer e-coupon.
Herdez
On the Herdez salsa 7 oz cans, a store e-coupon is coming off on JFU to make it the $.39 price. It rings up $.99 before any card savings/e-discounts, and both the $1.00/2 from the Corona booklet and the $.55/1 printable scan beeplessly for overage. Above, I bought eight cans and used two $.55/1 printables and three $1.00/2 booklet coupons for a total of -$.98. Here again is the deal:
On Dominick’s Just for U, you can load a $.39 price for Herdez 7 oz canned salsa, limit 8.
The “Corona de Mayo” coupon booklet found on Corona displays in Jewel has a manufacturer coupon: $1.00 off any two Herdez salsa products, with no size restrictions.
Put in ZIP 10001 here and reload the page to find $.55/1 Herdez dip. Note that the jar in the back is SALSA (which you can see better when you print it) — I wasn’t sure that salsas were “dips,” but it’s right there in the picture, lol.
I’ve never bought salsa in a can before — is this stuff any good?
Today on Dominick’s Just for U, you can load a $.39 price for Herdez 7 oz canned salsa, limit 8.
The “Corona de Mayo” coupon booklet found on Corona displays in Jewel has a manufacturer coupon: $1.00 off any two Herdez salsa products, with no size restrictions.
Note: This will likely beep because it is over the price of the product. You could try buying three salsas for $1.17 and using one $1.00/2 coupon, and see if that avoids the beeping issue and gets you three for $.17 — let me know!
Update: Put in ZIP 10001 here and reload the page to find $.55/1 Herdez dip. Note that the jar in the back is SALSA (which you can see better when you print it) — I wasn’t sure that salsas were “dips,” but it’s right there in the picture, lol. So if you don’t find the Corona booklet, this is another great one to print for free salsa.
(Thanks to The Shopper’s Apprentice for this one)

Mine, alas, are extra super boring this week, but perhaps yours are not. And what is with them continually offering me personalized deals at worse prices than they are charging in store? lol — I have Nestle morsels for $2.18, and they are $1.99 with in-ad coupon this week. I have Lucerne eggs for $1.49, and they are $1.00 on the $5 Friday sale starting tomorrow. I have Arm & Hammer cat litter for $6.30 — which I bought on last week’s $5 Friday sale. But anyway, since it’s NOT all about me…
