LOL — I posted on my horrible full-page printout of black ink from SmartSource that I know where to get cheap ink, and now three of you have asked where. So, let me tell you again of my favorite place to buy cheap ink: COMBOINK! Here’s your ComboInk code for January 2013: Use new13 for 15% off!
ComboInk is my favorite site for cheap, cheap printer ink and toner — they sell remanufactured cartridges at rock bottom prices, and one is in my own printer right now, no lie.
Shipping is free at $50, $3.99 under $50.

Staples also gives you $2 per empty cartridge when you recycle them in store, limit 10 per month.
I was wondering if I can recycle these through an office supply store. I started ordering from Combo ink because of you Rachel! Thank you soo much for saving me over $300 every 2 months on ink and toner!
$300! You must print a lot, lol.
Oh you forgot to mention the best part of Combo ink! NO SALES TAX!!!
costco does ink refills for under $10, sometimes they have printer ink refill deals and it’s $7 I think. It depends on what kink of cartridge you have.
I tried them once – never again. I bought all 4 cartridges for my HP and they were leaking alllll over and it was awful. And they don’t refund shipping even for defective products so it cost me $$ to even try them out. Ridiculous. I’m sticking with real HP cartridges.
That’s weird — I have two different HP printers and have never had a problem. Sorry that happened
Thanks so much for the link! I researched my ink cartridge previously and could only find my black ink cartridge for $26 (high yield), but Combo Ink has it for $10.96!!! Thanks so much for the savings. I hope I will have good results when ordering from them.
Thanks for posting!
I always get my ink for FREE @ Staples.
with ink recycling and rewards
Ed do they do refills on Epson cartridges
So, everyone other than Helen has had good result with the Combo Ink? We’ve tried other remanufactured and generic (ie: Office Max brand) ink and had no luck at work. I’m afraid to try again but we really need to save money.
I have used it in two different HP laser printers with good results, but can’t personally speak to any other brands.
