So Mr. 5 and I went back to Target to get some clearance non-dairy milk. And a party tray, why not, lol — THOSE didn’t expire til May 2013.
One Hormel party tray, $9.49. Used $3.00/1 manufacturer coupon, and $3.00/1 Target store coupon.
2 clearance Coconut Dream, $3.16. Used two $1.00/1 printables.
Managed to remember my $5.00 Target gift card this time — it came to $4.82, so now I have $.18 left to spend!
So here’s your PSA for the day: Check your expiration dates everywhere you shop. I dug around the clearance and found two Coconut Dream expiring Nov. 13, which I purchased — the rest were already expired. They also had several shelf stable Almond Breeze, which all had expired in JANUARY or APRIL 2012. This one was leaking and puffy. Ew. So I found an employee and had her take them all off the shelf before anyone bought them, but just a heads up.

Kudos !! Despite the sideways glance I get, I make a habit of pointing out expired to them as well.
I have had to go back to Target multiple times to exchange an expired item… you would think that I would start checking expiration dates. DUH!!!
