OK, who has tried Nature Valley granola bars at Walgreens today? A couple of you reported that you didn’t get both $3.00 Catalinas, so I marked it a dead deal — but Jill Cataldo posted she did it this morning and it worked. Anyone else tried to today?

Hi there – I did it this morning at 9:45 am and got both Catalinas, no problem. This was at the Huntley Walgreens on Rt. 47 near the Walmart.
I bought 5 this morning at the Wags in Glen Ellyn on Roovt. and Lambert road. Both cats printed.
I just came back 5 minutes ago and got no CAT’s. I bought the sweet and salty granola bars. I wonder if you have to buy the crunchy?
I got both CATs at 7:45 this morning.
I did it twice this morning(before 10) at both Tinley Park Walgreens. I bought 5 of the protein bars and got both $3 CATS each time.
Just did this now at rt 59 and Geneva in west Chicago and it did NOT work…just got the one 3$ cat…
What kinds did you buy? I am wondering if maybe one specific flavor isn’t working for one of the $3.00 Cats?
I just bought 3 rounds at 3 different stores in the NW burbs & received both $3 cats each time. I bought mostly the fruit & nut, but there was 1 transaction that was lots of mixed ones…I made sure to get ones that were tagged. HTH!
Just did this in dekalb and sycamore and got both cats both times. I bought all chewy-peanut, fruit and nut, and dark chocolate and nut.
Worked for me at noon. I bought all chewy varieties, too.

Just did this deal in Itasca -bought 5 boxes sweet & salty almond – got both $3 RR & $3 cat
Worked for me at 1:48 PM in Hazel Crest. I bought 3 sweet/salty peanut and 2 fruit/nut trail mix. Both cats printed plus 1,000 balance points.
Did the deal at the Wags in Woodstock and both did NOT print. The manager didn’t know about the deal, but was still willing to try it again on just the oats and honey. No dice for both. =( Bummed!
I just did 10 in 2 different locations and worked fine .mixed variety salty and sweet and crunchy .Something was wrong )O:

I did the deal in orland park this morning worked fine.
Picked up 3 sweet & salty and 3 variety crunchy and got both @ 3 pm. However, when I tried to roll the Cat/non RR one, it would only allow .85. I kept it to try on a different transaction.
bigmoney never roll any types of RR or cats. on same product at Walgreens .check bottom of rewards it says the Co. name so never use it on the same Co. will not get another reward back !at Walgreens only.
I got 10 boxes of the Sweet & Salty Almond in Lemont this morning and goth both RR’s and Cats each time.
Nice thing about the $3 cats is that they’re spendable at Jewel and probably Ultra. The $3 RR’s are only redeemable at Walgreens.
I did it in Morton Grove this afternoon. Stuck to the tagged items only and I bought only crunchy. I received both print outs.
Also, Old Navy started their clearance. It looks like they are redoing the entire store so lots of markdowns.
I did it at 3 different stores on my way home- it worked each time! Buffalo Grove, Wauconda, Island Lake. Crunchy oats, PB and peanut/dark chocolate protein.
Still working, 4:45pm. I did two rounds, one of Granola Thins and one of Protein bars – mixed and matched flavors, no problems
I just did without coupon as I forgot it about 30 min ago and still got both

Rt 45 & Route 30 location had them and both rewards printed. Went at 4:30 this afternoon.

I just did the deal at the one in Glenn Ellyn about 30 min ago and it worked.
Jenna: Woodstock’s registers and cats have been online and offline all day. They did not print this am, then printed fine 3 times for me at 4 pm. The managers do not know about deals unless it is in the flyer. They were resetting the system again when I was there. The regular cashiers know we couponers know what we are talking about with deals but they can not do anything without the managers ok and if it is not in the flyer the manager can not fix it. I took back the ones that did not print and they rescanned them and I got the cat the second time.
Just did deal and both cats printed! Grabbed last 3 granola thins, one crunchy and one protein.

Happy to say after the deal did not work at Wags in west Chicago, I just attempted the same one in Winfield and it worked!! Woohoo!
The deal worked today at 4:15 at Golf and Roselle. More left.
I tried this deal again but on the thin’s at crystal lake’s 14 location around 5:30 and the deal was still good!!!

ADVICE ANYONE?: I’m looking to do this deal and am wondering if the following would still get me CATS. I got an email from Walgreens with a code for $10 off any $30 webpick-up order. If I buy 15 boxes to total $30, will I get 3 CATs and 3 RRs, even with web pick-up?
You would have to do them in separate transactions to get the cats. The web pickup would have to total $30 in one order. If you do all 15 boxes in one transaction you will only get $6. back.

Can you use the catalina/register rewards on your next purchase if you wanted to do the deal again?
You for sure wouldn’t get the Register Rewards if you used it on the same deal but I am not sure if anyone has tried the Manufacture Cat. You can use those Cats at Jewel though so I wouldn’t risk it on a $3. one.

Someone commented it was today. 12:30 AM is a dangerous time because Catalina resets sometime between 11PM-2AM, although if it was down you shouldn’t have received either, so that is strange.

just tried this deal again and this time I did get the 3 RR and the3 CAT.so the deal is still on not sure for how long
