Here are the best Ultra Foods coupon matchups and deals I see for the week of 12/27/12. I’m using the Lombard version of their ad (valid for Lombard, Downers Grove, Wheaton), so note that some pricing can vary at other Ultra stores, particularly on the extreme value meat deals and sometimes on the cereal deals. Check your own store’s ad to verify.

Things to know at Ultra

Just a few:

  • At some Ultras, Catalinas will NOT print at the self-checkouts, so use the registers.
  • Ultra accepts expired manufacturer coupons back 30 days; they do not accept expired store coupons.
  • View the Ultra coupon policy here (click on your local store from this link and it will come up). They now accept manufacturer Catalinas from other stores; however, they will not accept Register Rewards from Walgreens.
  • Some Ultras will give you a $.05 credit off your total for each reusable bag you bring in and use, so be sure to mention them to your cashier.

Rachel.. I know there was a change in the coupon policy at Ultra.. I have a Man Q that printed out from Dominicks and Meijer… for $2.00 off Johnsonville Chicken Sausage.. can I use it at Ultra? .99 chicken sausage????

  2. Charlotte says:

Oooooh! I still have those $2 off 12 pack of coke coupons. Now, I read their coupon policy (DG store) and it said nothing about not accepting manufacturers coupons with a store logo on it. Worth a go, no?

    • rachel says:

They should take them. I used manufacturer Cats from dominick’s there this week — they always check with CS, and always take them :)

      • Charlotte says:

They did. Though, of course, I forgot to screen my cashier and ended up with an older lady who questioned EVERY… SINGLE… COUPON. Even the peelies I had. But $0.22/12 packs and free Barq soda. $0.98 Johnsonville Italian sausage and a free breakfast link pack too! Score!
