Here are the best Ultra Foods coupon matchups and deals I see for the week of 1/10/13. I’m using the Lombard version of their ad (valid for Lombard, Downers Grove, Wheaton), so note that some pricing can vary at other Ultra stores, particularly on the extreme value meat deals and sometimes on the cereal deals. Check your own store’s ad to verify.

Things to know at Ultra

Just a few:

  • At some Ultras, Catalinas will NOT print at the self-checkouts, so use the registers.
  • Ultra accepts expired manufacturer coupons back 30 days; they do not accept expired store coupons.
  • View the Ultra coupon policy here (click on your local store from this link and it will come up). They now accept manufacturer Catalinas from other stores; however, they will not accept Register Rewards from Walgreens.
  • Some Ultras will give you a $.05 credit off your total for each reusable bag you bring in and use, so be sure to mention them to your cashier.

Do you see a limit on that Skippy deal? And when does that Q exp? I can’t see clearly online. I think i need to go stock up on PB. Thanks.

Yup — see under “Things to know at Ultra” in post above:

“Ultra accepts expired manufacturer coupons back 30 days; they do not accept expired store coupons.”

So sorry! That was a real DUH! :)
I thought I had read here that they were changing their policy and not accepting expireds any longer…

        • says

Someone had said in comments that their store told them they wouldn’t be taking them soon. I have seen nothing about this and their policy so far has not changed.

A little late, but I only made it to Ultra today to get some Skippy. I was able to use the coupons that have been floating around at Jewel ($1.50 off produce wyb 2 Skippy). Since the Ultra in-store coupon lets you use two of those in one transaction, I got 2 pb and a nice discount on my produce!
