THIS DEAL IS OVER — Deal Match only went through Saturday, because it was a Target match and Target sales flip on Sundays.

Sarah noticed that 100 oz liquid Tide is on Target Deal Match at Dominick’s, so let’s revise this scenario again. Hopefully this will work, because it’s depending on all sorts of Dominicks’ e-stuff lining up properly, and you never quite know what will happen there, lol. Anyone tries this tomorrow when it starts on 1/3, let us know!

  1. Head over to Deal Match and load the $11.99 price for 100 oz liquid Tide through 1/5.
  2. Load the $1.50/1 store e-coupon on Just for U starting 1/3, LIMIT ONE. Note there is a second $1.50/1 manufacturer coupon in the Coupon Center that you can load as well –  I’d use two paper ones if you have them, instead, because it’s just one more e-thing to go wrong electronically. (If you don’t have two paper coupons, then why not load it and give it a try!)
  3. Buy two 100 oz liquid Tide for $11.99 each on Deal Match = $23.98.
  4. You should get $6.00 instant savings for the “buy two large household items and they’re each $3.00 off” sale starting tomorrow = $17.98.
  5. Get $1.50 off for the store e-coupon = $16.48.
  6. Use two $1.50/1 manufacturer coupons from the 12/30 PG, and you’re down to $13.48 for two LARGE bottles of Tide, or $6.74 each. (That’s like paying $3.37 for a 50-oz bottle.)

    will the powder work?

  4. deb says:

    never mind it said liguid

  5. Sara says:

I only have the $1.50 manufacturer’s coupon from last weekend, don’t have a store coupon :(

I think it’s a better deal at CVS anyway this week with the current P & G deal (if you have enough coupons.) —->

Buy 5 (50 ounce bottles) for $5.94 = $29.70 (Close enough to $30 to get the $10 ECB.)

Use (5) 1.50/1 coupons= $22.20 (break up into separate transactions if necessary per coupon verbiage.)

    Get $10 ECB=12.20
    $12.20/5= 2.44 each 50 ounce bottle.

Even better if you have any $/$$ CVS coupons, or need to use up expired/expiring ECB (as I did.)

I like the cvs deal but “close enough to $30″….does that work. I think you have to be $30 or more for deal to work and “close enough”…won’t make deal work. Is this correct? At least that’s been my experience with these deals at cvs

Hi! I tried the exact deal above. EXCEPT…I only had one P&G paper coupon. And my total was $14.98. If I had a second one (minus another 1.50), I would have gotten your total above.

  8. Cindy says:

I am off to see if it works.. No doubt I will have to print my coupon list there… because I always have to do that now.

  9. Lindsay says:

I just tried this and I got 2 for $12.13 or $6.06 each. I also used a 10% off laundry detergent personalized deal. So it looks like it worked! Good luck!

Can you share which coupons you used? I’m assuming you used the “Price Match” option. It looks like you also had a 10% off laundry detergent. But did you also get the store coupon ($1.50 off) plus 2 MQ coupons? TIA!

I used one tide insert q and loaded the man q on JFU and .ended up one at $5.99 and one @ $8.99…but I have 10% off bath tissue so my cottonelle was $3.93 ea!

  11. Cindy says:

Dominicks changed the 1.50 Just 3 you coupon to be a manuf coupon so they are not allowing you to use 2 from the P&G insert now. I spent 40 minutes in there in Oswego talking to 3 people about why this didn’t come down to the total I expected. They said yesterday it was a store coupon and the deal would have worked the way I had it from your blog.
I am not a Dominicks fan and have issues every time I go there. :(

    • rachel says:

They never added the $1.50 store coupon — the $1.50/1 manufacturer coupon in there is separate, there is discussion about this in another post. I think they realized it was too good a deal and pulled it, honestly — they’ve done it before.

Oswego Dom’s is not worth the fight. Haven’t been in more than 2 times in all of 2012 after shopping there all the time prior. They have been so rude to me so many times that I just had enough. It doesn’t even matter if you are right and you have the paperwork (coupons, just for you printouts, etc.) It is just assumed that the customer is wrong. Especially couponing customers.

      • Cindy says:

I will find another Dominicks and just go when I have a deal and for nothing else. Sad that Oswego is a mess with this.

        • Barb B. says:

Amen! They are so rude to me as well when it is usually their mistake. Last week I had two free items on my JFU and of course I got charged. The Customer Service woman was so annoyed. I made my mind up last week I am going to shop at another one – lucky me I live between two of equal distance – and if that isn’t any better – I give up. I am going to mail my Dominicks card to corporate and tell them to keep it because I won’t be needing it.
