Target

I stopped at the Lombard Target this afternoon to get a birthday present — they’re still out of Bounce, by the way. But I thought I’d do the Oral-B toothbrush deal I told you about earlier. I bought four Complete, which were indeed tagged $2.25… but rang up at $2.69 each. This caused all sorts of consternation at customer service, because when they scanned the receipt to price adjust, they rang in at: $1.44 — the pro-rated price of each after $5.00 gift card — and that was quite confusing and caused much discussion. So that took a lot of time. Be forewarned!

I also did the Tropicana Farmstand + Eggo deal. Note that these bottles of juice are small — just 46 oz. They appear to come in only blueberry pomegranate and strawberry banana. Hope the kids like it, cause now I have four. :)

Which means I’ll have to clear out a space in the garage refrigerator for your juice, right? ’cause they won’t like it…

If they don’t like it, it’s all yours. Enjoy. :) But you don’t know if you don’t try!

Off topic but check your email from JCPenny. I received a $5.00 off $5.00 coupon.

For a buck apiece, the juices are worth trying. I hope they have the peach mango variety at my Target.
Too bad there aren’t any Eggo coupons floating around right now. :-(

There is $1.50/1 Eggo Coupons on Kellogg’s Family Rewards. But they ‘cost’ 1000 points & I haven’t seen any good codes lately. If you have Kellogg’s products in your stockpile ck for codes :) Also, if you do print them, use Internet Explorer. They’re very glitchy in Firefox.

I tried to price match at Target today from the Family dollar ad. The pop tarts are 2 for $5. They won’t price match that because they call it a bundle price. Target is annoying with all the rules on price match.

I went to two different Targets today, cause McHenry said Crystal Lake had Bounce. But in the end I was notified neither store will probably get any in because the 34 count is being discontinued.
IF that’s true I’ll be totally bummed. But would make sense cause that’s happened before (ie: dove men’s 6 pack soap).
