Rachel, do you know the best way to search for Add-on items? I tried yesterday when I bought Xbox Live, but couldn’t get good results. Thanks!

    • Liz says:

There are various web sites to help you find filler items not necessarily add-on items to get your order to $25

      http://www.filleritem.com/
      http://slickdeals.net/slickfillers/
      http://pricetracker24.com/amazon-filler-items/

Keep in mind they make their money (most likely) by using afiliate links, so you may want to search in one browser (e.g. Firefox) but do your ordering in another window if you are trying to direct your purchases to a specific affiliate (like Rachel).

Thanks, Liz. And yes, that’s exactly how they make their money — so if you open up another window and do a search on one of those sites, it will override my link. Amazon goes by the last link you clicked, so even if you leave the order window open and then click on SlickDeals or filleritem in another window, they get the credit for the sale.

(More than you ever wanted to know, but figured I’d share! :) )

I am not sure there is a way to just search add-on items, honestly. Were you looking for something in particular? In some of the categories you can browse — like if you are in “grocery” and on the left pick “groceries under $10,” most will be add-on items.

I was just trying to find something good. Like the other day when I bought something and added that 6 pack of Gluten free muffin mixes for $3.81, normally $30+. I’ve seen iPhone cases for about $2-3, normally $10-15. Thanks for the tip about going by price.
