There is a really nice Sam’s Club deal on LivingSocial this morning! For $45, you get:
• $45 ($79.84 value) for a one-year Membership package
• Includes a $20 Sam’s Club gift card and $19.84 in food-service vouchers
• Food vouchers valid for an Artisan Fresh Rotisserie Chicken, a 16″ Artisan Fresh Take-and-Bake Pizza, and two boxes of 6-, 12-, or 24-count Artisan Fresh Cookies
A regular “Advantage Membership” is normally $40 — so for just $5 more you get the membership, a $20 gift card, and a bunch of free food!

They often offer the free $20, $15 or $10 giftcard for new members or two months before renewing. But the food vouchers are interesting!
got this deal back in august (?) – just be forewarned that you do have to redeem all the coupons on the day you “get” your membership – make sure you’re hungry – pizza, chicken, cookies! i hadn’t read the fine print and was a little surprised as we stopped in on the way to dinner. lol.

I noticed the fine print says that it is valid at participating locations only. Does anyone know if certain locations don’t allow it. I’m particularly interested if anyone has been able to use this at the Matteson location.
On the Living Social deal information it says: “Vouchers valid only at participating locations found here: www3.samsclub.com/clublocator.” I checked and the Matteson location is listed. So is the Elgin location-yay!

I did this back in August on one of the couponing deal sites. We had to drive to Elgin and open the membership at that location as well as purchase the ‘free with coupon’ items but the $20 gift card and membership can be used anywhere
