My matchups pal Emma is no longer with us today — she was over 18 (a kitten the year we got married!). Here’s Emma this past April… and early this morning. She had a good life, and I’ll miss her. She liked nothing better than to hang out and help me work (and rub her face all over my coffee cup when I wasn’t paying attention), so the deals may not be as good without her. 🙁

Dear Rachel, I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm sharing a tear with you as I sit here with one of my 3 kittycats on my lap. I hope you can open your heart to another furry loved one again soon. There are so many sweet cats out there that need some love.

This was the hardest thing I've ever done myself. We said goodbye to our cocker 2 weeks ago, he was 14. Unbelievable pain. You realize how much joy they gave you, and it just tears you up. It's the hardest decision, especially when your heart just wants them to be with you forever, and your brain is telling you, it's time to let them go. My thoughts are with you and the family.
