  • A tip from Patty: “I had to switch to Chrome to see the link for the [Starbucks] coupon. See if that works for you.”

Food 4 Less

  • Ashley reports: “The Olay body wash is also included at F4L for $1.99 so $0.49 each with the coupon that expires 6/30/14”

  • A warning from Ann: “I have spent more time on the phone with RRSTAR trying to find out where a payment is they have processed. Very frustrating. On top of that I miss a paper about once every 2 weeks and have to call. Less stress to just go out and buy a paper if that’s what you want.”

Hair services

  • Raegan posts in Hot Deals: “I am offering 25% off all body waxes and facial waxes at Jandee Salon in Lindenhurst. Valid through 7/3, call for appointment at 847-356-8411.”

Internet security

  • Something to look for from Krystle: “If your service provider is Comcast you can get the full version [of Norton] for free by logging into you account online, this will work for multiple computers in your home or work.”

  • Maria says: “Not sure if still available to load, but on my SavingStar I had loaded .50/2 bags Chex Mix, Bugles, Gardetto’s or Green Giant snack.”
  • David says: “There is $1 off 2 Claussen expires 7/6 – but I don’t know which insert I cut them from and coupon tom doesn’t show them.” It was the 5/18 SS. Unfortunately it was not in the Tribune, but was in the Sun-Times.
  • And letsshop found the same: “Don’t know if it was mentioned ! but $1/2 coupons for Claussen pickles  5/18 SS (:”

Loyalty programs

  • Sent over by letsshop: “Zero [calorie] coke products double points through 6/26”

  • Pam shares: “for health nuts like me, who like to actually receive evidence-based info, [Life Extension] is an awesome magazine. Definitely one I could not live without!”

Maple syrup

  • Alilia comments: “The best price I’ve found on pure maple syrup is at Sam’s Club or Costco. It’s $12.98 at my Sam’s Club for Uncle Luke’s 100% Pure Maple Syrup – 32oz – and I’ve checked Uncle Luke’s website & they are also kosher (no lard is used to reduce the foaming during the process). Yay! I didn’t see any size on the Aldi’s prices listed above. I would like to know for next time I’m in a state that has Aldi’s. Thanks.”

Reader requests

  • Bunny is wondering: “So I know pink slime issue has been out of the news for a while, but does anyone know if fresh thyme, target, aldi, and jewel use it? I know store claim their meat is natural but that is a lose term. I really want to make some hamburgers :)”

Ultra Foods

  • Krystle reports: “Stopped by Ultra foods this afternoon. They had Fleischmann Homemade Cornbread on sale for $1.99 normally $2.39, use the expired(exp 6/1) $1/1 4/27 RP to score these for 99 cents but only a few more days to use! Also they had the 3pk Orville Reddenbacher popcorn on sale for $1.99, and there’s a blinke machine right above them offering a $1/1. Makes them also 99 cents, better deal than Jewel’s normal sale.” Make sure the popcorn coupon is for the right size, because others have found them for six packs only.

Valli Produce

  • From maggie: “Don’t forget about the Valli coupon inside for a Smores deal! A set of graham crackers, chocolate and marshmellows will come to $5 total when you use Valli’s store coupon ($2 off) and a $1 printable that has been around lately. Great deal in my opinion!”

Oops!!! I am so sorry if that is the case on the coupon verbiage 3pk vs 6pk. I was so excited I didn’t notice, and apparently neither did my cashier because they did scan fine (I’m not suggesting this). That will teach me to read more carefully!

For the free Norton, do you sign onto your Comcast account or norton account? We are switching over to comcast soon and that will be a great bonus!

    • Connie says

Your Comcast account. I haven’t logged in for awhile, but they have Norton antivirus, safety and security checkers, and speed checkers and such in the same area.

  3. Evelyn says

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows who do I contact if I don’t get the grocery ads delivered to my house. They do deliver them to my area just the person who does it never delivers to my street. Thank you.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a reasonably priced tailor near Lisle/Naperville/Downers Grove/Oakbrook Terrace?

I am looking to get a couple of suits altered and don’t have any idea what price range I should be looking for, so I figured I’d start by asking for recommendations.
