• A find from Lynn: “My CVS had q’s on the refrigerator door for $.50/vitamin water, as well as $1.00/wyb 1-20oz diet coke & 1-20oz caffeine-free diet coke.  The latter works with the Jewel promotion for 2 free candy bars wyb 2-20oz coke products.  Still $2 for the lot, which is a bit high, but if you’re buying anyway . . .”
• And one from Steph: “I found Pampers wipes on clearance at CVS (Naperville, corner of rt 59 and N. Aurora Rd) for 87 cents! I picked up 3 and used my $2 off coupon, so I got 3 packs for 61 cents! They also had the larger refill packs on clearance for $3.99. These were not marked, they had no price at all so I checked them at the scanner.’

Dominick’s

• From Joy: “As part of my buy 8 save 4.00 I got Rold Gold pretzels. They are 1.49 with the discount, use the .55 off from 5/2SS. I got the 1 lb. bags for .94.”
• Lynn found: “Almost forgot – Dominick’s had Odwalla q’s on the wall near their produce juices.  There were 3 different ones – save $1 on 1 product; buy one juice, get a bar free and 1 other that I did not get and cannot remember .  They have a long expiration, so time for a sale to come along.”
• Tami noticed: “The Del Monte fruit smoothies are part of the “buy 8″ at Dominicks and will be .49 after coupon.” $1.00/1 on Coupons.com.
• A find from Kim: “For you Evanston shoppers, the Dominicks at Dempster and Dodge had TONS of the Dairy booklets in a separate stand by the milk.  Note that all the pastic containers for the booklets were empty, but the stand probably had to have 60 plus booklets in it. The Dominicks on Howard on Rogers Park near the El stop had none.  This store seems pretty useless when it comes to coupon booklets.  Make the short trip to the Evanston store…”

Jewel

• From Janine: “There is a double dip with Promise and the Dariy Cat. Not sure of the dates for the promise one, but it is buy 3 get $2 back. There is a 55c off coupon in the 5/23RP. They are marked $2.39 this week, so if you buy 3 x 2.39 = 7.17 less $3 ($1 each for the dairy cat) = 5.17 less $1.65 (3 x 55c off coupons)= 3.52 less the $2 promise catalina = 1.52 for 3 – I got these with the 1.50 off dan-o-nino coupon to decrease my oop ”

Target

• Felicia found the Glade Sense & Spray starter kit for $4.35 at the Joliet Target. There’s $4.00/1 in the 5/9 SS.
• And one from JB: “I went to Target in Blgdle, & they had SureJell on clearance on an end cap for $1.46, which is a great price. I had tear pad Q’s, which I’ve had for a while, hoping to find a deal. The Q’s were for free sugar, up to $2.00, when you buy 2 boxes of Surejell. Target had Domino sugar, 4#’s for $2.09. I paid $3.01 for sugar & pectin, which, if anyone has these Q’s & makes preserves, is a great deal. The Q’s were good until 2011. I wish I remembered where I got them, but, hope someone else found them also.”

Toys R Us

• From Shirley: “Grand Opening Event at Downers Grove ToysRus 6/11-6/13 I went there this morning with my kids and they gave away a very nice goodie bag for mom only. The bag is filled with some chips, a box of shake n bake, nail polish, trial size moisturizers etc. Free backpack for kids. There were storytime, songs and character appearances. We saw Geoffrey and Funshine Bear this morning. Barbie and Iron Man are supposed to appear on Sat 10-2pm. Oh! Don’t forget the $5 off $25 purchase coupon too. I found mine at the Daily Herald from yesterday. They have some in-store too by the checkout.”

Walgreens

• Another find from Lynn: “Also, my Wags had $.50/Snapple single bottles.”
