Expandable hose

  • DON is a fan: “LOVE mine, kill the water a few minutes prior to finishing watering and use up the rest of the water in the hose… nozzle is solid as well !!! I have this 50 combined with a 25 ft and I am one happy gardener – no kink no problems whatsoever …. I could go on and on about this hose but you get the idea”
  • But Sue warns: “Not so sure about these–I work at the return desk at a major retailer and have seen ALOT of these get returned”

Jewel

  • Linda shares: “While the Jewel guac is $4.99 a container, my parents were in town this week, and we got some, and they commented it was the best guac they had ever had. I’m not into spicy foods, but who can resist a good guac?! The secret ingredients were serrano and jalapeno peppers. Yum!”

At Meijer there is a buy $15 in Nabiscos snacks get $5 onyo as well as a buy Honeymaid Graham crackers, marshmallows, and Hershey pk get an instant $1 off. Since the crackers are nabisco it qualifies for both promos. Check your store cats I had a $1.50 off 4 nabisco ritz.

Garden Fresh Market has 2lb containers of Strawberries 2/$3. I got 4 lb today and used them with last weeks cases of 12 Mangoes for $4.99 and giant bags of spinach for $2.99. Together they all froze well for green smoothies.

I also used Trish’s awesome technique for freezing some of the berries from Frugal Homemade.
