Big favor: If you mention other sites, online coupons, etc, please include the link. Disclaimer: All of the deals below come straight from readers.

  • Lisa reports:  “I just did the deal on the Sally Hansen nail polish. They are $3.19 each and after coupon and ECB bucks back they will cost you $1.32 each. The coupon is only worth $2.48.” The coupon was a B2G1 that is no longer available.

So if you use store and manusuture coupon final price will be at cvs is 1.00 a box.”

Goodwill

  • Tips from Matt:  “If you’re at the Good Will and you’re looking for a used TV, you should always read the back of the TV as the back of the TV will tell you the month and year it was manufactured. Usually the best TVs made after 2000 will have 2 to 4 inputs for video devices. Some of the original HDTVs were the heavy kind as well.”
  • And Susan suggests:  “If you haven’t already, sign up for the free Club Goodwill card.  If your purchase goes over $20 you get an extra 5% off your purchase.  Every Sunday and Monday the ‘color’ of that day is 50% off.  On the 15th of every month if you are a Club Goodwill member you will get a scratch off ticket that is 10%, 15% or 20% off your purchase.  And these %’s off can be combined (eg if it’s scratch off ticket day and your purchase is over $20 then you would get the extra 5% and whatever your scratch off card discount was).  Can you tell I am a Goodwill Shopper? :)

GFS Marketplace

  • Laurie on Facebook says:  “GFS in Schaumburg has 100 ct drawstring bags for 6.99 right now. They are Array brand, they hold as good as Hefty.”

Living Social

  • Sara points out:  “Remember, Kane County is now the class A affiliate of the Cubs. The team should be quite good as most of the 2012 Boise short season will be assigned to Kane County. Includes players such as Jorge Soler and Albert Almora.”

Stack the $3 mfr coupon with the $2 March IVC on page 18 and get some serious overage when you buy in multiples. The ingredients in the feminine wash are the same as liquid soap, the cooling wipes will be great come summer and those little deodorant pads that you stick on your underwear? Great to stick on your car visor (very lightly scented).” The $3.00/1 is in the 2/10 SS or February AY.

  1. Sandy says:

Does anyone still have the list of coupons that comes with the freezer purchase at Jewel?

  2. Debbie says:

I’m a Goodwill shopper and ours (Champaign) doesn’t do the Club Goodwill card or scratch off ticket. Our ‘color’ changes on Sunday or Monday and lasts all week with 50% off. We have 20% for seniors 55+ on Wednesday’s.

  3. Debbie says:

What is the “IVC” at Walgreens?

    • rachel says:

“instant value coupon” — it usually refers to the ones in the monthly little booklets of store coupons found up front by the weekly ads.

  4. DON OCONNELL says:

Thanks for the heads up on the Menards ad !!!

  5. DON OCONNELL says:

Caren . I can not seem to find your referenced Menards Crazy Days ad – can you kindly add a link to it – perhaps someone else has the link also? TY TY

  6. Kevin says:

  7. Debbie says:

I can’t find the Crazy Days ad on the Menard’s website either. I would appreciate the link also. Thanks.

  8. Matt says:

Good Will also sends you a postcard during the month of your birthday for 25 percent off any purchase.

  9. Matt says:

The St. Charles Savers actually runs better deals than the other thrift stores as usually when you walk in the door they have sign that says “Manager’s Special” and it typically states two different colored tags are 50 percent off.

  10. Matt says:

My most recent ValPak has a Savers coupon for 50 percent off clothing, shoes, accessories and bed and bath. It’s good until March 23, 2013.

  11. Debbie says:

Again, our Goodwill doesn’t do the postcard in your birthday month.

  12. Kari O. says:

There are two different sets of Goodwill’s. One does the club card with all the mentioned discounts and birthday postcard. This is the ‘south east Wisconsin’ group which includes ones all over IL, including Paletine, Lake Zurich, Round Lake, etc. The other Goodwill’s are starting the “Star Card” which will feature similar discounts but not identical. This group includes McHenry and others, I think it’s considered the ‘northern IL’. I just received an email last week about the new star card but deleted it. Which stinks cause it listed all the locations that aren’t SE Wisconsin.
Both sets overlap each other, so it’s very confusing. The best way to tell apart is the tags. The ‘south east Wisconsin’ group uses nice color coordinated tags. The northern IL group does not.

  13. Kari O. says:

I prefer the south east Wisconsin group. They’re better prices, higher quality, and less of a ‘warehouse’ feel I think. I go to Round Lake, Mundelien, Lake Zurich, Algonquin and Paletine. All these take the club card.

  14. feelgood says:

Got the Menard’s March 8-10 Crazy Days Sale ad. The canned corn 4 for $1 sounds good..until you read that it’s for a 7 oz can!
One other item for this sale that wasn’t mentioned: 6 pack men’s socks FREE after $5.96 rebate, limit 4. These usually go fast!
Also, I’m halfway through using the $5 off $50 coupons in my 2013 calendar. If anyone has a spare calendar and/or doesn’t shop at Menards, I’d be happy to Paypal postage for the coupons.

  15. Amy says:

Check your emails – Today I received a $10 off next purchase at Kohl’s.
