Aldi

• Becky noticed:  “I was at the Woodstock Aldi this morning and they had some great clearance. Pumpkin cream cheese are $.25, red velvet mini cupcakes $.50, and mini cinnamon cookies $.50.”

Big Lots

• Beta found:  “Biglots has a 12pieaces jigsaw puzzle with board are $3. Normally they are $5 or above at other store.”

Coupons

• A few from yesterday’s paper from Kitty:  “I had 2 home delivered Tribs today. One had the Per Diem, Dr Teals & Mineral Ice Qs….the other had $2.50 on Veggitales “The Little House that Stood” DVD at Walmart – this week only (X 3-10-13), but not the other 3.”

CVS

• A heads up from Kim:  “On the CVS Tresemme deal: The coupon states that it is for certain formulas that are not included in the sale. I didn’t try to use the coupon.”

Dollar Tree

• Edna advises:  “Check Dollar Tree for Pop Tarts.”

Dominick’s

• Kari O. points out:  “The Ten 2 liters are $.99 at Dominick’s too. And the 12 pack cans are 2/$5.” Use the $.75/1 in the 3/3 Flavor Saver insert to get the 2 liters for $.24.
• LauraL comments:  “Kleenex cool touch is on sale for 99 cents. At the Oswego Dominicks there are peelies for 25 cents off one box. Plus, there is a code for a free sample box.” The price requires the in-ad coupon or loading it on JFU.

Jewel

• Lisa found:  “The Jewel In Bourbonnais is offering a $25.00 store gift card with the purchase of the freezer.”
• Something to look for from Kate:  “Just got an email from Kraft First Taste with a $2/1 coupon in it! Can print twice. Makes this deal better…. 1.38 for 2 or .69 each! ” And get a $1.00 Catalina!

Kmart

• Diane says:  “I went to the Willowbrook Kmart and it is having a going out of business sale. Everything is 10, 20, or 30% off the lowest price listed. Unfortunately I had a list of things I wanted to get from the ad, and they are not going by any sale ad prices. So the things I was going to buy were actually higher than the ad prices. I’m sure there were probably other good deals, but I wasn’t in the mood for browsing. Maybe I’ll go back if they go higher than 30% off.”
• Angie noticed that too:  “Kmart in Willowbrook (Plainfield and Rt 83) is closing. Right now everything is only about 20% off, jewelry said 50-70% but hopefully better clearances to come!”

Meijer

• A find from liz:  “at meijer they have el montery burritos 5/5 and there was a coupon this week for 1 off any el montery product..the register beeped but she did them mnually..yippee..also they have a deal where you buy $12 worth of dial products and get $3 off instantly so I bought 7(1.89) for foaming hand soap..got 3 off instantly…used 3 $1/2 man coupons, and used the target store coupon buy 6 get $3 off for cheap hand soap”
• Laura found the burritos too:  “For the El Monterey coupon, I picked up extra large 10 oz burritos at Meijer. They are on a price break for $1 each for another week or two, I don’t remember the end date, but free is good! ”

Sam’s Club

• Kari O. shares:  “They often offer the free $20, $15 or $10 giftcard for new members or two months before renewing. But the food vouchers are interesting!”
• Some information from cheryl:  “got this deal back in august (?) – just be forewarned that you do have to redeem all the coupons on the day you “get” your membership – make sure you’re hungry – pizza, chicken, cookies! i hadn’t read the fine print and was a little surprised as we stopped in on the way to dinner. lol.”

Seasonal items

• Matt emails:  “The Coke made with real sugar for Passover is now available.”

Target

• Sabrina reports:  “For the $40/$10 coupon- I bought 3 Downy fabric softener $26.97 and 4 pledge multi-surface sprays $14 total of $40.97, less $10/40, less $3 manufacturer downy coupon, less $3 target store downy coupon, less 2 BOGO pledge coupons which scanned and took off $4.19 per coupon instead of $3.50, paid $16.59 for all items. I thought that was pretty good!”
• Another item option from Michelle:  “Swiffer dust and shine is included in the 10/40 sale. It was marked $3.14 and there is a bogo in the 3/3 PG.”
• An idea from Kari O.:  “OR use the stacked coupons on the 30% off clearance diapers! It’s the bulk cases from January.”

Walgreens

• A tip from silviavm:  “I was in the store for over a half hour looking for these alka but you have to go to the allergy section, there is alka everywhere in the store but the only one i saw that was regular price 4.99 is the alka plus allergy!!! After the store i stood in for a half hour, I was able to find the right one at every other store after that! Look it up on line and select the image so you can se which one your are looking for. HTH”
