Here are some of the deals (and heads up!) YOU found recently — Thanks! How do you share your own deal?

Big favor: If you mention other sites, online coupons, etc, please include the link. Disclaimer: All of the deals below come straight from readers.

Big Lots

  • From Denise: “We always try to go there if we run out of something that’s Bob’s Red Mill because the prices really are very good. (I’ve never looked at their Baby Food — I’ll check that out next time we are there.)”
  • And alex shares: “In the Hanover Park Store, 1 year opened, they made it very nice to shop at. You might want to view other stores around your area or in your travels to see if your get the same results. I have tried some stores similar to your experience, it can be location, location……”
  • A heads up from Kari O.: “The expiration dates are nearly ALWAYS bad at the Round Lake location. It’s a pain and the employees NEVER pull food from the shelves when its expired, even if you hand it to them they just put it back. That happened over and over with pouches of baby food. Eventually it was marked down to $.10 each and we just bought it to throw it away and prevent any mother was accidentally giving it to their infant. But on a plus side they often carry kids skidders for $2-$5 which is really good price since Target is $12.99. Same with adult sized crocs.”

CVS

  • A deal from Laura: “Check your coupons from the 2/23 SS. There was a $1.00 off 3 any Reese’s product. If the Reese’s Eggs are included in the Hershey BOGO for $0.99, you could get 6 Reese’s Eggs for about $0.16 each. HTH.”
  • Tamara spotted: “There’s an unadvertised freebie if you do a sneak peak of the weekly ad under medicine and health. Zarbee’s Naturals Seasonal Relief 10 ct. for $7 and get $7 EB.”
  • Laura says: “Check you emails. I got one from CVS tonight to do a survey and receive a coupon for $10 ECB that I was able to print right away.” These are random, but definitely something to watch for.

Kmart

  • Sent over by sophie: “I was looking up caress online at kmart and there were bars and liquid body soap for $2.  Certain ones only.  I couldn’t find any stores near me for pick up but maybe someone else can. “

Kroger

  • Shandelle comments: “I’m not in Chicago at the moment but I know people from other regions do follow this blog: Kroger has Coke 12 packs 3/$9 right now so if you bought 6, you could get them for $2 each. Not really a stock up price but still an ok price for coke I think since these coupons are rare, if you don’t just get the free ones from MyCokeRewards all the time.”

Reader requests

  • From christine: “Help requested. I am looking for a list of magazines which typically have the 20% Gymboree/Crazy8 coupons inside. Expecting in a couple of months and wanted to subscribe to any which allow for FREE subscriptions so I can get these hard-to-find coupons. Thanks!” I have seen them in Family Fun and Parenting.
  • Jaimene posts on Facebook: “Does anyone know of any Chicago area FB swap groups for moms?”
  • A question from Jane on the Redbox code: “I got this same code sent to my phone today, except it said it is a BOGO. I have not tried it yet, but wondering if you can just get one movie for free today? Anyone try it yet?”

Target

  • Yolanda posts on Facebook: “I was at Target this evening and there is a free deal on Ziplock bags. Buy 2 bags of Goldfish crackers (on sale $1.66 ea), get 1 FREE box of Ziplock 50ct sandwich bags or snack bags ($2.29, as marked only).”
  • Krystle shares: “There is also a $5 gift card offer when you buy 4 select windex, scrubbing bubbles and I think liquid plumber. So if you have 2 bogo windex touch up coupons from the 3/16SS. Buy 4 touchups on sale for $3.39 (- mfgs) plus the $2/3 windex etc target printable coupon, and the $1/1 windex etc mobile q. It’s a $1.22 MM after gift card, this deal gets even better if your bogo Q’s ring in at max value($3.99) and you have an offer on checkout 51.”
  • She also spotted: “Also Swanson broth cans are on sale for 75 cents, after 10% cartwheel and $0.50/2 Swanson printable from coupons.com. You will end up paying 42 cents a can.”
  • A Dream report from Samantha: “The 64 oz runs $3.49 at the Target on Touhy in Niles. That is the lowest I’ve seen around here non-sale priced. This is ALL my oldest will drink, so this Cartwheel made my heart happy :)”

Walmart

  • From Shandelle for the $2.00/3 Iams cans: “I believe these are $.58 at Walmart regular price if you can find a store that stocks them. If you happen to have 4 printables which is the max you can use in a transaction, it ends up being about a $1 of overage! I’ve found it to be very hit or miss even with the super centers. I know the store in Forest Park did carry them. I am down in Indianapolis until Monday night and so far no Walmarts down here carry Iams wet food which has been disappointing.”

If you like Kashi cereal, check your boxes. There was $1/1 “new item” Q on the boxes recently, that shows cereal, chips, and something else. The cereal is B3G1 free at Target, ranging from $2.89 – $3.29. I had a $1/2 IP, and a $1/1 from a box—nice deal on Kashi. (You need to buy the ones marked “new,” matching whatever number of Qs you use. The IP is “any” Kashi cereal.)

Today only on Cartwheel there is a 50% off the board game CLUE. New $5 game for the kids Spring Break!! I didn’t find any coupons so not as good a deal as Hungry Hippos, but a lot quieter :)

I was at Target today (March 24th) and they still had the goldfish and ziplock deal going. My ziplock snack and sandwich bags were $1.83 each.
