- Nikki says of canceling Savings Club: “When I first went into my account, and followed their directions on how to cancel, I, too, did not have a ‘cancel’ option in the drop down menu, so I sent a message. I just received an email saying someone will answer my message in 2-3 days, despite their site saying ‘within 24 hours’. I logged in a second time, and there was the ‘cancel’ option in the drop down. If you don’t see it at first, log out and then log back in.” I didn’t see it either so I used live chat as someone else previously suggested and they took care if it quickly with no argument.
CVS
- VB found more coupons for the Clean & Clear deal: “My CVS had $1 MQ peelies on them.”
- A deal from jane: “CVS Gillette razor & cartridge deal: bought 1 10ct cartridge pkg $21.79(-$4/1 q)& 1 Mach-3 razor w/2 bonus cartridges $10.49 (-$10/razor wyb cartridges) = $18.28. Receive $10 ecb for Gillette spend $30 get $10, running through Saturday 2/23. So, net $8.28 + tx for 12 cartridges plus one new razor.” I also found 8-packs of Mach3 blades as well as the white cans of Fusion shave gel at 75% clearance. They both tracked for the deal. Also, the deal is limit two, not one like the ad says.
Dollar Tree
- A warning and request from Gwen J.: “I checked at 2 different Dollar Tree stores for Maybelline make-up and just wanted to share that the Des Plaines store and the Vernon Hills store do not have any Maybelline make-up for sale. If anyone knows of a Dollar Tree store that has any Maybelline make-up and could share that information, that would be most helpful.”
Dominick’s
- Fun noticed: “I noticed Ken dressings on JFU for $1.19. Use the $1/1 (1/13SS) to get for $0.19.” That price is good through tomorrow, 1/20.
- Turken shares: “Re: Dominick’s Fuel Rewards — Just wanted to give a shout out to the “Pride of Wheaton” Mobil station at the corner of Geneva and Gary roads. Not only are they frequently cheaper than all the other nearby gas stations (regular @ $3.83/gal yesterday afternoon *before* fuel reward discount), but they’re also one of the few gas stations that still have a free air pump as well!”
- Kari O. comments: “I went to Dominick’s in Fox Lake for the cleaning supplies deal Rachel mentioned a few days ago. I had already gone once and questioned the deal because there was no yellow stickers detailing the sale or the $3 off deal. Luckily it worked. I went back today, still no signs and full stock available! The $.50/1 coupon for Mr. Clean products worked on the reusable sponges, so they were FREE! They beeped because the coupon was for $.50 and the sale price was $.29, but they used it anyway.” The $.50/1 is in the 1/27 PG.
Jewel
- Ashley found: “Jewel in schaumburg has freezer cases full of clearance meat!! all managers specials because they simply have too much in stock they said. If you combine that with the $3 off meat alcohol coupons sponsored by the BAR that dont require an alcohol purchase thats tons of free meat!!!!!!! Hundreds of packs of chicken and a few dozen of everything else were still there when I left”
Meijer
- On the Bounty deal, Kari O. says: “Tried to do this deal today but the McHenry Meijer does not carry the 2 ct.”
- Brian found them: “It wasn’t in the normal section in Bolingbrook either…I found it on an endcap.”
- A deal approach from Ashley: “Today my mom and I went to the Bloomingdale meijer to try this deal. I saw at least three other people trying this, but none realized there is a perfect way to roll this. If you buy one Bounty Duratowels for $3.29, and use the coupon from the PG you get the $3 onyo mentioned above. Now take that catalina and use it to buy three meijer brand paper towels, single rolls for $1.20 each. Then receive $3 oyno paper products which you can roll back into the bounty. Thats net under $1 plus tax for five rolls of paper towels. Also included in the meijer brand catalina are the single rols of meijer brand bath tissue so if your store carries those you can roll those into the bounty. I couldnt believe how many times I watched people pay out of pocket for the bounty (I mean carts full!!) when they could have gotten them for essentially free by rolling with the meijer brand ones too.”
- Christina found them, too: “At the Aurora/Rt 59 Meijer, there were a few on the shelf, but a TON on an endcap near the milk. Darnit, I wish I had thought about the paper towel cat roll!”
Target
- Christine reports: “Went to get my cheap Revlon hair color and found that the deal is even better if you can buy a second group of three. When I bought the first three I got a print out Target coupon for $3 off 3. So my second three were free including the tax.” There is an unadvertised $5 gift card wyb three deal going for Colorsilk, which is sale priced at $2.97. There is a $1.00/1 in the 1/27 SS and a $1.00/2 in the 1/20 SS. The deal may not be going in all stores, so check tags.
- On the Purina dog food deal, Cindy opines: “even if you don’t have dogs this would be great for the shelters I would guess”
- Also on that deal, a coupon to check for from Sue B.: “If you got the free sample of purine one from Walmart it came with a $4.00 off Q which I used as well to make this deal even sweeter”
- From Kari O.: “The Poise wipes and wash have been on price cut at various Target locations for $2.99. I found them in Gurnee, McHenry, Zion and Pleasant Prairie.” She follows up: “I meant to add they were all in stock at those locations!” So free with the $3.00/1 in the 1/13 SS without need for the $1.00/1 Target printable.
Ultra Foods
- Regarding the $1.00/1 El Monterey coupon in the 1/27 SS, Jane shares: “I have not checked at Walmart for them yet BUT my Ultra Foods did carry them last time we had a coupon for a free one.” It might vary by store, I know Forest Park Ultra does not carry them.
Walgreens
- A reminder from lori: “A week ago a coupon printed at walgreens for 5000 points when you spend 30.00 with coupon, don’t forget to use this. It can also work well with MIR for this month.”

Yeah they were wine hang tags from beginning of January. Haven’t seen them in a long time tho but I’m sure some people have them in their stockpile

You use the $3/3 target coupon and stack it with 3 maufacturer coupons. Three boxes of hair color $2.97*3= $8.91 minus 3 $1 manufacturer Q’s = $5.91 minus the $3/3 Target Q = $2.91 minus the $5 giftcard you get back is -$2.09. So free plus a money maker!
Super Target Mundelein had 90% off Valentines items today (except bagged candy). Still had quite a bit of goodies this morning, the signs were still 70% but they were for sure 90. I got everything I need for some birthday parties, school fun stuff, and next Valentine

The bounty duratowels are $3.79 at my Meijer in Bloomington-Normal.
That’s because your store is a Sunday market. Ours will be that price starting Thursday
It is also possible that prices differ within the Thursday market. Smaller stores like the two near me (Melrose Park and Berwyn) sometimes don’t have all of the sales. The towels were also $3.79 at Melrose Park today. That was the sale price, $3.97 regular as stated above.
Saw men’s dove sensitive body wash on clearance at one of my Walgreens. It was on clearance for $2.79, and they were also buy one get one half off. Used 4 $2/1 coupons and paid $1.01 oop.
I am single and usually stop by jewel on nights when I want to make dinner(I rarely stock up on meat)..so often I go to the meat department to buy one thing of chicken or such…today..Perdue individually seasoned and wrapped chicken breasts(5 pack) were 9.99 normally but todays sale was 5.99…good deal but..I never stop there..I see that a bunch have a sell or freeze date of today so I ask the buthcher if he would further reduce the price since in a few hours they wont be able to sell it anyway…and yep they reduced it to 3,99.. why not I was just going to go home and cook it anyway…but I ended up getting a few for the freezer…always thinking of how to get the best price or combine a deal
I did not think the Bradley Store carried them either as I looked several times. They are in the fresh not frozen section-check there or ask. Staples posted coupons today–one for a free ream of paper after mail in rebate (limit one). Also one thats takes 4.99 off a case of 5 reams of paper–this same paper has $20 back in rewards points–making it a freebie with the rewards points!
Ashley, I was at the Bloomingdale Meijer this morning as well. There were 2 ladies in the self-check next to me with shopping carts full of pt. Looked like they were aware of the special pt deal you were talking about.
Next time, perhaps you can give us other shoppers a heads up! LOL
That probably was my mother and I. We were openly giving people some to try as well left one case worth on the shelf along with 75% of the dura end cap. My mom also was telling everyone she saw to go buy them. We saw the ladies on self check six and seven and the attendants told them for us but they said they were content doing it the way they were. I’m sure if you would have stopped my mom would have gladly explained it!
I was hesitant to post here until I tried it and saw if it worked, would hate to post a deal before knowing for sure if it worked. I posted as soon as I got home.

for those of you who bought the coffee at 0.30 a cup from amazon a few weeks back, go check your subscribe and save. I just checked yesterday to see when my coffee was going to be shipped and the price had increased. I cancelled my subscription.
McHenry Target clearanced their Valentine stuff for 90% today, except their signs say 50%. There’s lots of stuff available as of 11 am because the sign is wrong.
Bought men’s boxers for $.89, Disney tangled doll for $.69 and a Spiderman for $.59 too! Not everything is strictly Valentine’s. Also lots of baking and housewares for $.29-$2. Just scan everything!
