• A find from April:  “Willowbrook Binny’s had Pinnacle Pumpkin Pie vodka clearanced for $4.99 a bottle and on top of that they had a rebate form: Buy 3 Pinnacle 750ml. bottles and recive $21 rebate. So for 3 bottles with tax I paid $16.06 and will submit for $21 rebate.”

• Denise points out:  “Did you see the one sheet with a bogo Pantene and three Vidal Sassoon coupons? I found this in my subscription copy of the Tribune. (Such a bad week, I didn’t go out for extras yesterday.)” Yeah, it came in my Tribunes but not in the Sun-Times.

Dominick’s

• April spotted:  “I was in Elmhurst Dominicks today to get a free yougurt and noteced 1 lb. fresh ground pork containers were on sale for .99c. Use or freeze by 2.16.13 . I got 4 packs and used my $1 off fresh pork coupons. For all including yougurt I paid 3 cents.”
• A heads up from Nikki:  “Just an FYI if you’re headed out this morning – the Westchester Dom’s has no Jimmy Dean Delights in the small packages (they do have the large ones that are $5.99? each). I did ask if they had more in back & an employee told me they put all the frozen stock they had out last night or overnight. They also have NONE of the .29 cleaning supplies. They have maybe 10 or 15 Cracker Barrel cheeses- Mediterranean herb & Cracked pepper only. And the Cracked pepper all expires tomorrow.”

DSW

Generators

• A tip from sam:  “If youre shopping for generators know that the start up watts is what they list usually and us usually higher than the running wattage. Also, u need 2-3 x as much to start as to run. Hth”

Jewel

• Kari O. says:  “The regular Gillette Fusion Proglide razor with 2 cartridges is only $5.49 at Jewel. Use the $3 off coupon from 2/17 and get it for $2.49. Great deal just for the cartridges! They’re not with the shaving stuff in the aisle but in a display or end cap.”
• A find from jennyh:  “South Elgin Jewel has a pretty good deal on sparkling juices: 2/$3 on welch’s sparkling grape juice and 2/$4 on the sparkling apple cider. They are located in aisle nine in seasonal, still a TON left! Valentines day stuff is slim pickings but some good deals if you are there anyway.”
• On the freezer deal, minnie noticed:  “It said on the manual ‘ do not install in any location not properly insulated or heated e.g. garage, etc.  freezer was not designed to operate in temperature settings below 55 degrees Farenheit.”
• From Yvette on Facebook:  “Found an ineresting rebate deal at Jewel last night. Buy $25 in P&G products in one transaction and get a T-Fal Caldero and a few celebrity chef recipes. Info is at PGmealtimememories.com. To print the form you must search for a store near you and then click on “view offers”. It also appears that you can submit eletronically and save a stamp.”

Kohl’s

• A tip from Sue B.:  “Was at Kohl’s today and thought this was worth a mention. Kohl’s has free WiFi now and when you accept the guest access you get a pop up for $5.00 off a $25.00 purchase which I was able to use with my 30% off Q and my $10.00 reward.”

Meijer

• Tara posts on Facebook:  “I bought 4 Nivea Lip Balms & 2 Nivea body washes (1 Nivea Men & 1 Nivea) at Meijer this morning and got a Catalina for $3 off my next order and it doesn’t even expire until March 3. Score!”

Outlets

• Don shares:  “Premier Outlet Mall in Aurora – Converse outlet, plenty of decent T’s and other well priced items as we were window shopping and then an employee asked us if we wanted to do a survey on a tablet – 10 minutes of non-intrusive info later they gave us a $10 off $10 we used on some cute Converse sweats my dtr loved and got them for $15 … not bad”

Target

• Micca on Facebook discovered:  “My Target (Springfield, IL) purple dot clearance is ringing up 70% off, though it is still marked at 50%.”
• And Kari O. spotted:  “The giant containers of Softsoap with regular size bottles attached are on clearance for $3.85 at Target. If you buy 3 for $11.55 you get a $5 giftcard! Making your total net cost $6.55 for 3 huge bottles w/ 3 bonus regular size too. The original cost is $5.50 each.”
