Ultra Foods

  • A heads up from Mary Ann: “The Nature Valley cat deal is not rolling in Prospect Hts. I’ve done 6 transactions so far and needed CS intervention every time.”

Vonage

  • Francesca says: “I have to say I tried Vonage a few years ago and it was a huge mistake. Dropped calls constantly. And when I called to cancel they told me I had to pay for the caller id receiver and it wasn’t rented equipment so they billed me for that. It was not worth the $ saved.”
  • But Outlander had a better experience: “I love Vonage and have had it for years now. I used to pay more than $200 a month for my phone bill because of the international calls, but with Vonage it’s $25 + taxes/ month! Yes, there are occasionally not the best quality calls, but altogether it’s great. And every time I called about anything, they have the best customer service. Those guys helped me when I had trouble with other devices too, like the router or int. modem (where the other guys wanted money).”

Walgreens

  • A deal from Emily for anyone still going out tonight: “There is a 1.00 off 2 Dial Soap in tomorrows paper and at Walgreens the hand soap and bar soap are b1g1 free (today’s the last day). They price is around 1.89-2.29 for 2 minus the 1.00 coupon”

I used 2 $1/1 store and 2 $0.75/1 MQ (came in e-mail a week after signing up on OV web site). Got 10 cents back for bringing own bag. Total OOP $1.87 with tax for 2 16 oz containers. Great price for organic sour cream!”

in the redplum insert there is an ad for tums refresher and chewables..it says buy 2 get a $5.00 giftcard…I don’t think these can be more than $4.00 each…there is a $1.50 coupon in the insert..use 2..plus there is a 15% cartwheel coupon..plus giftcard making for free tums?

We have had Vonage for years and LOVE it. The calls only drop when there is a problem with your interent speed. If you have reliable interene you have reliable phone. Plus you can have your phone calls forwarded to any phone (cell or land) if you are away and you get a free virtual extension that allows you to call world wide from one other phone (cell or land line). The $25 + taxes does come to $38/month but a great deal for us. I also have found that their customer service was amazing.

I’ve had Vonage for about two years now and it’s been great. I am on the U.S. 400 min. plan, which runs about $20/mo, including taxes (additional minutes $0.05). I only have issues when the cable/internet goes down, which is not Vonage’s fault. Call quality is good. I was also able to get rid of the rented cable modem & buy my own, which also saves about $12/mo. after the payback period on the purchased modem. Over the long run, Ooma will save you more money, but at the time I switched, I didn’t have a good reference for it (Rachel is a fan now :-)), and am satisfied with Vonage.

Has anyone else found the tiny Tide bottles at their Jewel? I don’t want to run out in a blizzard if it is just at a few selected stores. The only thing I need at Jewel this week is the Kens…..but this would be a nice perk. Plus the cat may get some cat grass to boot!

Tums. 60 ct did not trigger a gift card but I did bring the ad in which showed the picture of 60 ct and the other tum products and they took the money off my bill no problem….they also had Bic pens 1.39 for free pens..at target!
