CVS

• A tip from Sarah for anyone still planning to grab some cheap cereal:  “Just an FYI: If your manufacturer coupon for Kellogg’s is like mine, it is for $1/2 cereals 10 oz. or larger, so that means it only works if you get two boxes of corn flakes and not one box of each because the Rice Krispies box is just a 9 oz. box.”

Dollar Tree

• Some observations from Kim C.:  “Dollar tree in north aurora is HUGE!!! They have Palmolive dish soap, soft soap body wash and hand soap, Advil 6 ct. Nivea lip gloss, hefty slider bags (13 ct) and lots of bars of soap (jergens, dial, zest, Irish spring) not sure if they are 2 or 4 ct. Most of these have coupons in various inserts that make them next to free!!!”

Dominick’s

• A heads up from Mary:  “I bought the 100ct Kleenex today at Dominick’s and I did not see the .50 coupon discount come off my bill, even though I had loaded the coupon the day before. I was charged .79. “
• Brenda found:  “The Dom. in Woodridge has bags of chocolate (summer exp. dates) marked down to 1.99 in the produce area. I found $1/2 peelies (a couple left on the Milky Way packs) so $1.50 candy bars. 11 oz fun size”

Food 4 Less

• Charlotte posts on Facebook:  “Food4Less now carries more organic products plus they have a $1000 sweepstake. Only need to enter once. I like those sweepstakes )”
• She also says:  “They also have $1.67 Skippy PB. Not sure if you can combine with the Centrella ad coupon (my store is picky about coupons), but worth a shot, no?”

• A find from rachel:  “Just found ekobrew cups clearanced at the Jewel at Clark/Catalpa in the city for $3 each.”

• From boce:  “I picked up antibiotic last night and Meijer, and my eye caught an end cap of Meijer children’s liquid Ibuprofen on clearance. Price was $1.17. I think. This was Meijer St. Charles.”
• Kevin shares:  “Visit the Meijer mPerks website, then enter “meijerbrandjan13″ in the OFFER CODE box and the following coupons appear that are valid through February 9, 2013. (The mperks do not appear on the front page after you enter the code, so to browse through the pages to see them around page 4-5, depending on how many coupons you have already clipped).

I bought: 2 Meijer brand floss picks $1.77 bogo 2 2pack replacement brush heads $16.99 bogo, Meijer brand gummy vitamins (sale 50 % off) $2.74, Total $21.50 deal: clip the $6 off $20 Meijer brand Health purchase, also clip earn $5 off total purchase of $60 in Meijer brand products. • Becky asks:  “Does anyone know if the Fiat Mart Ministry store that used to be in Algonquin is up and running at a different location yet? They had to shut down in I think it was September and were looking for a different location. Or, does anyone know of another store that is like that, where they have donated items from local stores at a large discount? Thanks so much!!”
• Laurie on Facebook asks:  “”I am looking for a dog food to feed my dog since she was on Beneful and I took her off since seeing the article. Any suggestions?”
• Charlotte responds:  “We feed our dog Taste of the Wild. I have never seen a coupon for it, and it is expensive compared to the grocery store brands, but we need less (2 cups per meal) and it is grain free. We do pair it with $ off coupons at Pet Supplies Plus, which they regularly send us in the e-mail.”

Ultra Foods

• For anyone shopping tonight, maggie says:  “A little late, but I only made it to Ultra today to get some Skippy. I was able to use the coupons that have been floating around at Jewel ($1.50 off produce wyb 2 Skippy). Since the Ultra in-store coupon lets you use two of those in one transaction, I got 2 pb and a nice discount on my produce!”

Visa Signature

• Sandy’s experience:  “I’ve been buying the $25 in Fandango Bucks for $20 using a Visa Signature Card for quite a few months. I love this promotion. I have the AMC Stubs rewards card, so I pay no fee for my AMC fandango movie tickets. I also accumulate rewards using my AMC stubs card. I get $10 to spend at AMC on my Stubs card for every $100 I spend and the full value of my Fandango Bucks count (not just the 80% I paid). If you are not sure if you have a Visa Signature card you can put your number in on the site and it will tell you. I have 3 signature cards and they all say Signature on the front. I have Bank of America, Chase, and Citi Signature Cards.”

Walgreens

• An idea from melissa:  “the quaker instant win giveaway coupon ($1/2 quaker products) works on the new quaker yogurt bars that are 2 for $1 at walgreens, making them free. Better yet, if you buy 8 and use four coupons, you get 250 points, making it a tiny money maker.”
