• Charlotte posts on Facebook:  “The Aldi in Bolingbrook (Lily Cache) has various Christmas toys at half price. We got the train set for $10, however, it fits very poorly with the Thomas set and not at all with the IKEA sets. Please be aware.”
• Cindy shares:  “Milk at Aldi on Caton Farm and 59 in Plainfield across from Tony’s Grand Opening had milk for $1.59 which beat Tony’s prices and most others.”
• Tori comments:  “The Aldi on 135th & Rt 59 in Plainfield has milk for $1.88, but they no longer sell 1%.”

Amazon

• Sara found:  “Amazon Appstore’s free app today is Audubon Butterflies – A Field Guide to North American Butterflies (regularly $4.99)”
• A find from Suzann:  “I was looking for something to get my order over $25 and went to clearance grocery. We grill a lot so this price rocks.” It is 5.5 lbs of McCormick BBQ spice for $10.01 shipped with subscribe & save.
• Teri found another Pampers wipes option:  “These, too, work out to less than 1 cent a wipe.”

• An endorsement from Sara:  “The flashlight is one with a magnet, very handy to keep on the fridge, much easier to find if the power goes out!”

CVS

• Julie reports:  “I did the greeting card deal at CVS with the buy 2, get 1 free coupon from the coupon machine. I bought 3 cards at $0.99, and the coupon took off $2.50. I paid $0.51, including tax, and got back a $3 ECB. Nice deal!”

Gluten-Free Saver

• Susan C. warns:  “FYI – I have only tried the Chebe GF bread mix (in my breadmaker) and would not buy the Chebe bread mix again. It did not rise and tasted very ‘yeasty. IMO for the price there are other mixes that yield better results.”
• Kim D. agrees:  “Also, I bought the cinnamon roll mix and would not buy it again. Besides it being semi-difficult for being a mix, they did not taste very good. My kids would not eat them. There are much better tasting options out there on mixes.”

Java

• Some information from Cindy V.:  “I downloaded the fix today and read a report that said it was a good fix. Then I read another report that said to download the fix, but that there were still problems and suggested that it be disabled anyway. The reports also said that more updates are coming sometime this week. I just disabled it anyway for now.”

Jet’s Pizza

• Rich’s opinion:  “Jet’s Pizza is great! Love the deep dish slices. Always check their websites for pretty good coupons before you order. Each store has different deals.”

Meijer

• A deal from liz:  “meijer deal!! for those of you dieting or using slimfast..crazy deal…on my mperks i uploaded a b1g1 free store coupon…until 1/16 slimfast products are 10% off so they had an 8 pack with the 10% off was 10.00..so I was like great 2 8 packs for $10 . There was a tag that said spend $10 and instantly get $3 off..so Im like I will get 2 for $7 plus I had 2 $1 coupons(but actually I forget them and will return with them for a refund) so I am thinking 2 for $5..but since I bought 2 $10 packs(even though one was free) it gave me $3 off each one making 16 bottles of slimfast for $2.00!!!!”
• Cindy shares:  “I just got back from Meijer where I scored .04 Finish! It is on sale for $2.69 and I used the $2.15 finish coupon and the .50 Jewel store coupon from Sunday’s ad.”

McDonald’s

• Daria sends over:  “Fyi, free small coffee Mondays till February at McDonalds.”

Old Navy

• Sarah is hopeful:  “I’m going to pick up a few of those Gap brand gift cards this week to use when Old Navy finally decides to announce their 50% off clearance sale. I’ve been peeking in the store over the past week and there is lots of clearance, but so far, no extra discounts?

Target

• Andrea says:  “I got milk for $1.79 at the Lake Zurich Target on Friday.”

Ultra Foods

• One de noticed:  “At Ultra the Swiss Miss hot chocolate(10 packets per box) is on sale for $1.29 down from $2.43. Pair that with the printable $1 off of 3 boxes.” Check zip 77477.

Walmart

• Charlotte spotted:  “Walmart in Bolingbrook had the Duplo gas sation for $21, down from $30. They had 4 or 5 sets left yesterday.”
