Over on Dominick’s Just for U, you can load the $5.00 Friday price for Star extra virgin olive oil 25 oz through today 1/13. Now, I was reading on a bunch of Safeway blogs that the olive oil is actually ringing up buy one get one free at the $5.00 price. Sabrina went to go check it out for us, and reports: “The Filippo Berio is marked $5 and BOGO, but did not ring that way. Star worked but was not tagged. This is. At the Oswego location. They proceeded to pull the bogo tags off while I was there.”
So if you want to load the price and run out today, you may be able to get two bottles of Star olive oil for $5.00, or just $2.50 each — nice deal.

I just left the Doms in Shorewood. I don’t know why but it took off 4.80 off the two bottles. So 5.20 for both bottles. Oh n I originally had an extra virgin n an original. They did not come up b1g1 that way so I had her take off the extra virgin one n ring up another original. That’s when my total came to 5.20 pre tax.
