Notes from the Chicago Tribune 6/22/14

Some notes of interest to couponers from the 6/22/14 Chicago Tribune, including some coupons and values that differ from the previews. Note that store ads and flyers can vary, depending what stores are near you and what they decide to put in your paper.

  • Chicago Restaurant Coupons — I add the coupons from each Sunday’s paper for an easy way to access the Chicago Restaurant Coupons list, since they’re not always in the general databases. Restaurant coupons vary by region, so this list reflects coupons found in the Sunday Chicago Tribune only.

That Sam’s Club deal sounds awesome for anyone with allergies. I buy the generic Claritin D from Sam’s because it’s SO cheap. At Target I paid $11.xx for 10 generic pills but at Sam’s Club I pay $3.xx for 10 of their generic pills. Same quality and stops my face from swelling all summer long. I am constantly running back every 10 days to buy more, but if you get a Dr’s prescription you can buy more than 1 box at a time. (And yes, my allergies are THAT bad and I NEED one pill a day. lol. I’m not local and the pollen here tries to kill me)

Thanks! Love that you have put up the restaurant list like that as in the past I have had to search for Chuck E. Cheese and Baskin Robbins!

I get generic Claritin @ Costco for like $12 for like 365 pill bottle. I don’t need D daily anymore (yea! allergy shots) but get the decongestant (6 hr or 12 hr. occasionally from any store. (ooops just realized I’m not even sure they sell 24 hr. old time generic Sudafted anymore by itself without an Rx.)

They do sell real Sudafed without an Rx but you have to get it at the pharmacy and show ID, and I think there are limits on how much you can buy. I get my generitin on Amazon — it’s been Costco price or less with subscribe & save. :)
