Here are some notes of interest to couponers from the 2/10/13 Chicago Tribune, including coupons and values that differ from the previews. Note that ads and flyers can vary by location depending what stores are near you and what they decide to put in your paper. SmartSource is split into two separate inserts again this week, so don’t accidentally toss one.

  • Wed, Thurs, Fri, and Sun delivery for $1.00 a week with code 1184. Sunday only, $.99. Um.
  • The “renovate” magazine has a Stanley Steemer coupon: Save $35 when you spend $150+. Use code WHITE and must present coupon at time of service call for details 1800STEEMER.
  • Ulta Beauty ad has a coupon for 20% off one item restrictions apply. Also a salon coupon for $20 for each of these: hair, for blowout and style, or nails, OPI gel color, or face, makeup application. Excludes senior & master designers.
  • In your 2/10/13 RedPlum:
    • We DID get the $1.00 off Wet n Wild coupon this time. This will make for free products at Dollar General or when they go on sale at the drugstores. Expires 2/23, though, so really short time to use it.
    • We got a $3.00/1 Advil congestion relief or allergy & congestion relief exp. 2/24.
    • Our $1.00/1 Juicy Juice is good off any size or flavor.
    • We got a $.75/1 McCormick Perfect Pinch. These have gone on sale as low as $1.00 on occasion.
    • Baker’s Square coupons on the inside back cover.
    • Sherwin-Williams coupons on the back.
  • The Tiger Direct ad has several coupons, including one to get a Brother P-Touch PT-D200 label maker for $7.99. Limit one per customer while supplies last.
  • GFS Marketplace flyer has a $5/$50 coupon.
  • In the 2/10/13 SmartSource with VisionWorks on the cover:
    • $42 VisionWorks eye exam coupon. They’re also offering BOGO complete pairs of glasses or single pair for $49.95 (includes frames originally priced up to $69.95). If their frames prices or styles don’t work for you, though — Mash it up, guys: Get your cheap exam there, get your prescription in hand, then pick up your actual glasses from this Coastal Contacts deal or this Glasses USA deal! :)
    • Our Kraft Homestyle mac & cheese coupon is $1.00/2. If you spot these at your Dollar Tree (I saw at mine), they’ll be $.50 after coupon.
    • There is a Dominick’s ad for Gevalia single serve coffee 12 pack — $6.99 through 2/20, use the $1.00/1 from the blinkie machine, and get them for $5.99. (Or, use the $1.50/1 printable here and get them for $5.49.)
    • $1.00/1 Edge shave gel.
    • All sorts of Glade coupons. People are finding the holiday scents on clearance still at Jewel.
    • Our Starbucks coffee coupon is for $1.50 off any one 11oz+, not just the limited flavors listed in the previews. We also got $1.00/1 and $3.00/2 Starbucks VIA.
    • Buy a participating K-Y product (the expensive ones) at Walgreens, get a free $25 gift card to Restaurant.com.
    • $1.00/1 Ecotrin. Maybe Walgreens will have another good sale.
    • Medieval Times coupons.
    • Chuck E. Cheese’s coupons on the back.
  • In your Carson’s ad, you’ll find coupons: 30% off regular or sale price apparel + other categories, then the usual 20% off and 10% off categories, good through 2/14. Also a Savings Pass good through 2/14 on 20% off, 15% off, 10% off various categories that is reusable.
  • The back of the Tuesday Morning ad has DJ Hero (Xbox, Playstation, Wii) or Guitar Hero (PS2) for $14.99. Also Band Hero Kit for $29.99, systems vary by store. Leather coats for $29.99.
  • In the 2/10/13 SmartSource with DirecTV on the front:
    • Our Colgate toothpaste coupon is $.50/1.
    • Our POM Wonderful coupon is $.50/1 8 oz, 16 oz, 24 oz, or 48 oz. Use when the 8 oz goes on sale for $1.00 occasionally.
    • We got $.40/1 Pepperidge Farm product in the fresh bread aisle.
    • Our Campbell’s 100% natural soup coupon is $1.00/2.
    • Our Smart Balance milk coupon is $1.50/1.
    • 7-Eleven coupon: Buy any two Cracker Jack’D products and get a free Big Gulp.
    • We got a $1.00/1 Hormel Compleats coupon. People are finding the kids on clearance for $.99 at Meijer and the grownup meals for $1.25.
    • Buca di Beppo coupons.
    • We got a $.50/1 Chi-Chi’s salsa coupon. This sometimes goes on sale for $1.00.
    • Harbor Freight coupons this week include free 3.5″ LED flashlight with any purchase, 20% off a single item, and more.
  • Family Dollar ad has Simply Olay 5 bar soap for $3.00. Use $1.00/2 in the 2/10 SS. They also have Oreos for $2.50. Use $1.00/1 in the 2/10 SS.
  • Front page of the Trib has a sticker — $500 Auto Show Bonus Kash now available on a new 2012/2013 Optima, 2012/2013 Sorento, and 2012/2013 Soul.

    Make sure if you get your eyes measured that you get the Pupillary Distance measured (PD). America’s Best only measures it when you buy glasses with them, leaving me to have to try to measure it myself. Oh, and on that note: Avoid America’s Best. I’ve had so many issues with them, it makes me want to scream.

      LOL sure — I didn’t even look closely and they look like clippable coupons, but they’re not.

      Adults $36.95 and kids $29.95 with code 3629NA. General admission only, Schaumburg only, expires 3/10.

      Celebrate your birthday free with purchase of one full paid adult admission the birthday celebrant is free. Use code BDFNA. Proof of birthday is required. exp. 4/30.

      There’s also a Valentine’s Day package for $99 but it doesn’t show a code.

    Use your Wet & Wild coupon from the 2/10 RP for eyeliners and nail polishes at Walmart which are 97 cents. Love Free Makeup!

    There’s a Fannie May BOGO coupon for the 1lb prepkgd chocolate on the back of the Sun Sports section. It’s only valid today and tomorrow.
