I’m sorry about your depressing Target trip…I”ve had that happen elsewhere, it is quite frustrating isn’t it. I always get rain checks because I’m mad enough-lol, but it’s a pain if you don’t frequent that store often. It also irks me at the store if it’s fairly recently the sale started-surely they must know they’re going to need extra extra extra if it’s a good sale. I don’t think the Walgreens around here have good prices at all, but I have stopped in when they’ve had really good loss-leaders sales, & going on the first day often means the products are gone already! Grrrrr!!! Is this what I read about when Extreme Couponing was being talked about a lot-where some people go in & just clear off the shelves, or do the stores just not bother stocking up?
Would this price cut count as a sale for a price adjustment? I bought my crib sheets last week.
I don’t know. Their policy says:
If you buy a qualifying item at a Target store then find the identical item for less in the following week’s Target weekly ad or within seven days at Target.com, Amazon.com, Walmart.com, BestBuy.com, ToysRUs.com, BabiesRUs.com or in a competitor’s local printed ad, we’ll match the price. Price match may be requested at Guest Services prior to your purchase with proof of current lower price or by bringing in your original Target store receipt and proof of the current lower price.
But the crib sheets are not in the ad — so I’m not sure if they’ll take the shelf tag as an advertised price or say it has to be in the ad.
