Money making soup at Meijer

Don went to Meijer today and got a surprise Catalina on Campbell’s Homestyle soup! I poked around and found that there is a Cat running through 12/29: Buy three, get $1.00 OYNO. Buy four, get $2.00 OYNO. Buy five or more, get $2.50 OYNO. At Meijer this week:

So your best deal, if you have five $1.00 coupons, is to buy five soups for $6.25. Use five $1.00/1 coupons and pay $1.25 with $2.50 back, for a nice money maker! Otherwise, use as many coupons as you have — it’ll be a good deal nonetheless. :)

This Meijer deal is better, but I have another soup deal to share. At Jewel in Glenview (Pfingsten and Willow), I found a shelf full 4-packs of Campbell’s Chunky soup for $2 in the clearance section. They are in the Wounded Warrior packaging, and only 1 flavor–Creamy Chicken and Dumplings. There is a sign that says “this store only”. I was able to use the same $1.00/1 (10/13 SS) for each 4-pack, making it $0.25 a can which is not bad. I only bought 2, so I don’t know if there would have been a surprise Catalina. I doubt it.

Check your stash of coupon booklets from Meijer, there was one called “Make room for something new” that was found in the meat section on a wooden stand. It has coupons on the last page. There is one for the Homestyle Soup (1.00/4) and it is a Meijer coupon!
