I posted this the other day because they sent me this handy graphic in email. Well, unfortunately, a couple of you found your Mariano’s were NOT doubling on Saturdays — I emailed for clarification, and found that they’d mistakenly included Mariano’s in the list of participating stores.
- Mariano’s does not participate in the Saturday Double Daze promotion; they will just continue with the Wednesday Double Coupons. All other Roundy’s locations will be doubling on both Wed. and Sat.
Sorry for the confusion, guys!

This one is apparently only now for Roundy’s owned stores excluding Mariano’s: Pick ‘n Save, Copps, Rainbow Foods, Metro Market… Double Daze has been extended on Wednesdays AND Saturdays through December 29, 2012. This allows you to double five manufacturer coupons with a face value of up to $1.00 every Wednesday and Saturday on a minimum $25.00 transaction.

I cannot find this information in Mariano’s website…can you tell me where did you find it? I would like to print out something just in case the cashier doesn’t know the double coupons now on both Wednesday and Saturday. Thank you.

The $25 minimum purchase requirement is a real deal killer.
I’m a regular pick n save shopper and even though it’s a $25 minimum that’s before card and coupons. And it’s usually the regular price of the item and not the sale price. SO let’s say I have 5 coupons I want to double. Pick up a 3lb package of burger regular priced $10-$15 but then it’s on sale for $8-$10. And my 5 items are all free after double coupon. And I’ll use cheese that’s on sale right now. They are on sale for $.99 when you buy 5. So regular price on the cheese let’s say is $2.59. Then your total would be be pretty close to $25 with hambuger and cheese, scan store card and total drops to $13-$15 and after coupons (.55/2 cheese) you are basically paying for the hamburger which you’d probably buy anyways, but now you got 5 FREE cheeses to go along. I basically find my 5 items I want doubled and then add in some fillers to get to $25. You could even use free coupons to get to $25. Another example would be the cereal deals they have. Like the buy 8 at $1.99 and get free milk and eggs. For this 8 boxes at regular price is usually close to or over $25. So scan card and coupons and your down to like $6-8 for 8 boxes of cereal and a free milk and eggs. I love pick n save shopping. I can go in and buy the fruit meat milk bread eggs and get all kinds of things free after double coupons. Hope this gives you some incentive to go in and try it. Hate to be mean Shannon but you aren’t PnS and went you say what they do its not thenm saying it. ALSO they refuse to elaborate on what they do . Which means a person can get Pis—–d many times at stupid employees at PnS I have missed a handful of wed or sat that they have had double daze since thy started stopped restarted that’s years and you’d be surprissed how fast those years can go by gathering -findding coupons plannig regard thier offers for the week etc (like a full time job) for a extra $20.00 -$25.00 dollars savings on a wed or sat shopping 4-5 times. Could use all the coupons in one trip and lose $15.00-$20.00 in savings. But if had sufficient resources a person would’nt spend thier life to save $50.00 a week extra by doubling
I called the Mariano’s in Vernon Hills today and they said they hadn’t heard anything about this. Really bummed because I was hoping to do the Kraft shredded cheese deal.
