I went to the Willowbrook Kmart and it is having a going out of business sale. Everything is 10, 20, or 30% off the lowest price listed. Unfortunately I had a list of things I wanted to get from the ad, and they are not going by any sale ad prices. So the things I was going to buy were actually higher than the ad prices. I’m sure there were probably other good deals, but I wasn’t in the mood for browsing. Maybe I’ll go back if they go higher than 30% off.
Rachel, Do you know if the Catalina for buying glade candles is good at K-Mart (buy 4 get $3 oyno)? If so then I would bet it would work out to be a good deal with spending the $20 (or $25.00 if you want your coupons to double) because you would get a $3.00 cat and a $5 oyno coupon back. That’s $8.00 of the $20.00 right there. I have some $1/1 any glade printables so the candles would be cheaper (I think I only have 2). Any ideas on this?
Actually I just checked and I have $2/2 Glad spring item printables. So if the cat is running there in conjunction with the in store buy $20 promo get $5 then you could get 8 candles for $4 or.50 cents a piece.
On Coupon Network for the 4 oz Glade jar candles cat, it lists: Participating Retailers: Big Kmart, Dominick’s, Food 4 Less, Jewel Osco, Meijer, Tischler Finer Foods, Ultra Foods, Walgreens
Thanks. I will try it if the snow does not get nasty. .50 per candle is a good price. My K Mart is a big K so all should be good. When I go to Coupon Network and type in my zip it does not list all the participating retailers. The Oscar Mayer carvers and the Glade only stated Walgreens so if I had not read your blog I would not have known about the Oscar Mayer Jewel deal.
whats the 20 deal I am confused..there is 3 seperate deals…can someone explain?
If you mean Glade, there is a $5 OYNO when you spend $20 on select household brands (sixth bullet above), which happens to include Glade and list candles. There also seems to be a possible Catalina deal for 4 oz jar candles (buy 4, get $3 OYNO). But it lists Big Kmart, not Kmart, so it may not be running at all stores. I don’t know what a third deal would be.
does anyone else find it hard to shop at kmart?? everytime i go i swear I wont go again but i did today with fustration..but I did get a good deal..I had a coupon if i spent 50 I got 10000 points for my second year of being a reward member…so I got 6 glade candles, 1 glade set n refresh, 2 zzzquils, a case of water, 2 one count glade oil refills, 18 count kcups, 4 pocket kleenex packs for 41 total and got back a 5 giftcard, 5,000 points fo, 10000 points for spending 50r buying zzquil, 3 for buying 4 glade candles and 5 coupon for buying 20 bucks worth of p n g…so spent 41(after double coupons) and 28 dollars of credit back….
