Earlier I posted about a $5.00/5 Kraft coupon in the Valli ad that says “Manufacturer coupon” and suggested using it at Jewel on the Oscar Mayer Deli Fresh deal. Tami points out that the coupon has no redemption address — I just looked at the online version more closely, and am now pretty sure it’s a store coupon that they just worded wrong at the top. I am so sorry, guys. I feel terrible for using this myself and posting the deal, and I really don’t want everyone to go and use it and have Jewel not be reimbursed for this coupon. I clipped it quickly on my way out the door today and just saw “manufacturer coupon” and went for it — I messed up, and I apologize. I’ve removed the earlier post.

We all “miss” things and that’s why we are a community and help each other out. Just glad we caught it before everyone went shopping and used or tried to use the coupon. For all you get right your allowed an oops here and there.

Thanks for letting us know Rachel. I was planning a trip tomorrow so I’m glad you told us. I do have a question though….could you usse the TGIF Coupon in the Ultra ad and combine it with the Target coupon for the appetizers? The coupon in the Ultra ad say manufacturer and does have an address.

A lot of the smaller stores have been changing the coupons in their ads. Many of the Valli coupons now say “Coupon expires” on the top instead of “manufacturer’s coupon”. They have these coupons because they don’t have a shopper’s card and typically want to provide a discount without having to alter the price on the register. Instead of having a discount come off when you buy 4 Cokes, they put a $2 coupon in the ad.
