Things to know at Jewel

Just a few…

  1. Load SavingStar “electronic coupons,” which rebate back into your SavingStar account rather than coming off at the register.
  2. SavingStar e-coupons vs Fuel Rewards e-coupons.
  3. Load e-coupons on the Jewel-Osco website.
  4. Here is the official Jewel-Osco coupon policy from July 2012.
  5. When you can and cannot use OYNO Catalinas and Register Rewards from other stores at Jewel.
  6. *** Watch your coupons with the “new” registers. On a BOGO sale, they have the tendency to scan in your second coupon at…  ZERO. Their policy has not changed, however, and you can still use two coupons on a BOGO sale; they’ll just have to enter the second one manually. ***
  7. Now that they have new registers, Catalinas that require you to hit a certain dollar amount now sometimes print on POST-manufacturer coupon prices. Catalinas that require you to buy a certain NUMBER of products are not affected.

  1. Tammy says:

E-coupons & instant savings deals are still a mess. I did the “Buy 5/$1.88 each” deal & bought 5 boxes of Fiber One bars. Instead of deducting $1.00 off each box, on the two boxes I had e-coupons for, the register only deducted an additional amount that would add up to a dollar. For example, a $.40 e-coupon was deducted, then only an additional $.60…What gives?

On an unrelated note, have you noticed that Jewel’s “Gotta Love Low Prices” items are slowly creeping up in price again? I was thrilled when lettuce went down to $1 each, but now they’re $1.50.
