We found ourselves out in Glen Ellyn today, so stopped by Trader Joe’s and Dominick’s since were driving right by both. I had a $10 expiring Dominick’s Catalina from the Cottonelle deal a couple of weeks ago, or I would have skipped them this week — oh well! So I just stocked up on some things with JFU pricing. The mood there was pretty somber.
And at Trader Joe’s, I wanted to get Junior High Guy some dairy free yogurt, but struck out there. They haven’t had any on my last couple of trips — anyone know another fairly reasonable source for that?
Two packs dairy free enough for us chocolate chips, $3.98.
Low carb candy bar, $1.99.
4 Bush’s Cannellini beans, $3.48 with personalized JFU pricing.
6 Herdez salsa, $4.02 with personalized JFU pricing.
Herdez cooking sauce, FREE with JFU offer.
4 Ice Mountain water, $1.92 after personalized $.73 JFU price and $.25 off each JFU store coupon.
3 Hass avocados, $2.22 with personalized JFU pricing.
2 Fresh Express salads, $2.00 on the Friday sale. Used two $1.00/1 printables. And a $1.00 e-coupon came off, oops, forgot about that one.
Used a $10.00 Catalina and paid $1.01. So, $7.47 out of pocket and a net cost of $17.47. (Only three kinds of the cheapie salads were included on the Friday sale, and they were pretty picked over.)
And on the coupons note. I tried the little Herdez salsa cans for the first time back last spring when they were free after JFU price and coupon — never had them before, but now we love using them for cooking! So, coupons made me a convert.
