Here’s the official word on this year’s Jewel freezer deal: It will start Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 3. The chest freezer this year will cost $169.99, and will come with a book with $170 worth of coupons. No list of coupons available yet, but I’ll update you when we have more details!

Do you know the size of the freezer?
I am sorry, I don’t. They change every year in models, sizes, brands — I’ve asked for more details and will let you guys know if I get any more info.
They’re usually right around 5 cubic feet.
Also, Ultra usually has a freezer sale with free coupons a few weeks after the Jewel sale. Wanted an extra freezer last year, Ultra had a GE model while Jewel had a lesser known brand, plus the Ultra one was $10 or $20 cheaper…so I bought the GE. Coupons were excellent too, on many free items I was able to double up when the item was bogo somewhere, and some of the store coupons took off more than the shelf or advertised price!
Any idea how long this deal will last? A week maybe? We will be out of town until Feb 8th – maybe there will be one left…
It has always lasted until they sell out, so it depends how popular they are at your store! Last year they did have them around for a while but who knows how many they will stock this year.
Does someone remember if the Q’s that come w/the freezers are MFR or Store Q’? Also, how much time b4 they expire?
