So I went to CVS this morning to get the free Speed Stick. Confusingly, the Speed Stick rang up at $.87 and the CVS coupon dropped it to $.00. Um. So I saved my manufacturer coupon for another time — thought about getting more for free, then thought I’d leave them on the shelf for everyone else coming in with the coupon today, lol. The L’Oreal Everstrong was in a $1.00 clearance bin (!) so I used two $2.00/1 coupons from the 2/3 RP, the second of which adjusted down to $1.00. I’m sorry, I was a shelf clearer, and took all three they had. :) So my CVS trip cost: $.29 in tax.

Then I went down the road to ALDI, where I was going to get avocados. They didn’t look so good this time, so instead:

Bananas, $1.17.
Cauliflower, $1.49.
Strawberries, $1.29.
Grape tomatoes, $.99.
Blackberries, $1.49.
Baby carrots, $.49.
Eggs, $1.59.

Paid $8.66. Not bad for a full bag of produce! So for the day: $8.95.

No clearance loreal but I was was there to.get palmolive, tp, pt, and Crest. I got $2 off 2 toothpaste so it turned the Crest deal into a $0.50 MM! Love that MCM! Plus I have been getting $5/$25 purchase coupons!

Is that the trial size Speed Stick? I picked up a few regular sizes and none of them scanned at $.89.
