Here’s one for you Chicagoland folks — I’m copying the whole press release cause I’ve never eaten there myself and am intrigued:

JET’S PIZZA TAKES OFF IN CHICAGOLAND WITH FREE SLICE DAY ON JANUARY 26

STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich., January 13, 2013 — If you’ve made a New Year’s resolution to try something new, Jet’s Pizza has a great offer for you! On Saturday, January 26, all 12 Chicagoland Jet’s stores will give away FREE slices of its signature deep dish pizza (one per person) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. In addition, the first 50 people at each store will receive a FREE Jet’s Pizza t-shirt.

Jet’s doubled its Illinois presence in 2012 with seven new store openings (Arlington Heights, Champaign, Chicago, Joliet, Libertyville, Lombard and Wheaton), bringing the total number of Jet’s Pizzas in the state to 13. Other Illinois locations are Darien, Naperville (north and south), Schaumburg, Skokie and Wheeling/Buffalo Grove. A Tinley Park location will open in early 2013. All are locally owned and operated franchise locations. For store addresses, maps and hours, visit http://jetspizza.com/stores/state/IL.

“Chicago is an extremely competitive pizza market, but once people get a taste of Jet’s, they’re hooked,” said John Jetts, vice president of marketing. “Our Free Slice Day is a chance to celebrate the openings of our newest stores and introduce our product to people who haven’t tried it yet.”

Jet’s Detroit-style, square deep dish pizza with a crunchy crust is the pizza the Michigan-based chain is best known for. Jet’s prepares its dough FRESH daily at each store and uses premium mozzarella cheese and only the finest quality toppings—inspiring the company slogan, “Life is short. Eat better pizza.”

Customers can “flavorize” their crust for free with a choice of eight flavors: butter, poppy seed, Parmesan, garlic, Cajun, Romano, sesame seed and Jet’s Turbo Crust ®. Jet’s invented its 8 Corner Pizza®–eight square deep dish slices, each with its own corner crust—to end family arguments over the coveted corner slices.

Jet’s menu also offers hand tossed round and thin crust pizzas, salads, wings, breadsticks and subs for carry out or delivery.  Single slices of deep dish square cheese and pepperoni pizza are always available to grab and go.

Visit www.jetspizza.com to view the full menu. Online ordering is available for most locations. Like Jet’s Pizza Illinois on Facebook for offers and updates.

Jet’s Pizza is great! Love the deep dish slices. Always check their websites for pretty good coupons before you order. Each store has different deals.

I live in Michigan where Jet’s was founded and it is my family’s favorite pizza! It’s no Giordano’s, but very good regular pizza!

Thanks for posting this offer. We went to pick up some slices for lunch and liked how it wasn’t overly salty. Yum! : )
